Sanford Rebuts Democratic Governors: "The real fringe are those supporting the stimulus"
YahooNews ^ | YahooNews

"All of us are committed to working with President Obama to pull our nation's economy out of the ditch that George W. Bush ran it into," [Democratic Governor of Maryland Martin] O'Malley said. "If some of the fringe governors don't want to do that, they need to step aside and not stand in the way of the nation's interests."

The line drew a rebuke from Sanford, the Republican Governors Association chairman.

"I think in this instance I would humbly suggest that the real fringe are those that are supporting the stimulus," Sanford said. "It is not at all in keeping with the principles that made this country great, not at all in keeping with economic reality, not in keeping with a stable dollar, and not in keeping with the sentiments of most of this country."

I neglected to label Sanford: the Honorable Governor of the Great Palmetto State of South Carolina, of course.

All of us are committed to working with President Obama to pull our nation’s economy out of the ditch that George W. Bush ran it into,” [Democratic Governor of Maryland Martin] O’Malley said. “If some of the fringe governors don’t want to do that, they need to step aside and not stand in the way of the nation’s interests.”

“I think in this instance I would humbly suggest that the real fringe are those that are supporting the stimulus,” Sanford said. “It is not at all in keeping with the principles that made this country great, not at all in keeping with economic reality, not in keeping with a stable dollar, and not in keeping with the sentiments of most of this country.”

There in those two opinions is why Conservatives have no voice in government. O’Malley says: “Lead, follow or get out of the way, you anti-American.”

Sanford says: “I beg to differ with you, oh kind sir.”

My response to O’Malley: “This country is in bad shape because you people believe in always spending more than you have, and always take cheap shots for political power.”

Grow some, or get out of the way. I want fireeaters, like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, leading the way.

That’s my boy M.O.M. one of the first to shove his way into the liberal democrat trough . He took a Billion dollar surplus left him by Ehrlich and turned it into a Billion dollar deficit in less than a year. He has raised taxes and spent like a drunken sailor in baltimore and Annapolis while screwing over the rest of the State.

As I read the list of shovel ready projects he gave for the Stimulus, NOT ONE was a project in any county in the State, but Annapolis and Baltimore alone were mentioned.
O’Malley is a Baltimore Mayor in the category of Dallessandro, Pelosi’s dad. A Democrat party crook placed in office by the machine.

It isnt surprising at all to see Mom bellying up to the pork bar and he has no problem accepting the string attached as they are strings of liberal projects he endorses.

That’s because, like much of the stimulus, the pork is targeted toward democratic urban blue zones, while for the most part, the rural red areas of most key states get nothing. This thing is total redistribution (”share the wealth” crap).

Fred Sanford is RIGHT!! The kooks (and big dummies) are the ones supporting the ‘stimulus’ package.

Sanford may have a chance, but really why don't you give it a rest until after the mid terms.

Will you people STOP with “THE DRUNKEN SAILOR” garbage?
I admit I was once a “drunken sailor” and we SPENT ONLY OUR OWN MONEY. When it ran out we made our way back to the ship. We DID NOT go on liberty spending OTHER PEOPLES hard earned money. Enough already.
These idiots do NOT spend their own money, rather they claim the RIGHT and DUTY to take YOURS.
You’d be better off with some drunken sailors running things.

Of course you can. Remind me, what was that we fought for when we sobered up? Some outmoded phrase like “Freedom on the Seas?” I remember something like that.
Remember the drunks at Pearl Harbor? They were so far gone that they actually FIRED BACK without waiting for orders from Washington. Today, they’d have been put on trial.

"All of us are committed to working with President Obama to pull our nation's economy out of the ditch that George W. Bush ran it into," [Democratic Governor of Maryland Martin]

And Obama's going to do that by deepening the ditch?

If that totalitarian fascist f**ker O’Malley had called me anti-American to my face, he’d have gone home without his teeth.

Well he didn’t use those words he said:

“If some of the fringe governors don’t want to do that, they need to step aside and not stand in the way of the nation’s interests.”

If he called me a fringe Governor......man I’d sure be confused as to why he thought I was a Governor.
