Loyal to Liberty THOUGHTLET
What signals the difference between a "socialist" and a "communist"? It's the gradual repression of political and civil liberty culminating in the open prosecution and suppression of dissident views. But this suppression cannot come about until a monopoly has been established over access to the seats of government executive and decision making power. The key manifestation of this monopoly is of course some form of party dictatorship.
Aside from all the evidence in his known background, associates, policy preferences and political actions one of the main reasons I make bold to call Obama a communist is his grab for unchecked partisan control over the conduct of the next census. Skillful manipulation of the census could make the decisive contribution to establishing an electorally unchallengeable party monopoly, which would then provide the basis for consolidating party dictatorship. If such dictatorship were not part of their agenda, the Obama faction would leave ultimate oversight of the census process where the Constitution places it in the hands of the legislative branch. As it clearly is part of their agenda, only ignorance or willful stupidity blinds people to Obama's ambition to establish a better tailored version of Soviet-style government in the U.S.
Of course, there may be another name for what keeps some of the so-called Republicans from speaking out about it. Could it be cowardice?

BRAVO !!!!!
The Republican representatives are going to be picked off one by one. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some switch parties just to save their ass. Time to vote third party.
AIP is growing, and has really firm basis set now for future success.
Keyes is exactly right. 0 is a hardboiled Marxist, and he hates the old America. His policies are a declaration of war on the liberty that made this nation great.
Dr. Keyes had better watch his back. These communists he’s talking about are pretty ruthless.
Waiting for the bed wetting FReepers to go into their “Keyes is nuts” routine.
Except the republicans aren't cowards.
I think they're apathetic.
If they cared, Collins, Snowe and Spectre would have been kicked off of every committee.
If they cared, Charlie Rangle, Chris Dodd and Burris would all be under investigation.
If they cared, they'd have the control of the Census under review by the Supreme Court.
And if they'd care, they'd all publicly insist that Obama's long form BC be made public.
Oh, no, he’s just a “community organizer”.
Keyes got it right on the nail head. Watch the behemoth O’mmunists turn their wheels wheels toward Keyes.
According to my sources at the DNC, they are starting a new national campaign called “Organizing America”. If that isn’t something out of the Communist Manifesto I don’t know what is. The GOP has got to unite and offer something that can stop this campaign dead in its track. For starters, the name itself could rally some opposition from moderates and lead them to a more rational RNC campaign.
Second generation red diaper baby with a chip on his shoulder? Check.
Consistent association with other radicals, from early childhood formative years on? Check.
“Constitutional lawyer” who hates the Constitution? Check.
“Community organizer?” Check.
Mysterious patrons and sponsors, who opened doors and smoothed the way for him, all his life? Check.
A personal story you might find interesting:
I was with Alan in Denver during the Democrat National Convention. He gave four speeches in two days to various groups around the city. One was to the assembled Minutemen. We walked onto the park grounds where the rally was taking place and there were about a half dozen Minutemen security guys standing together praying. They saw Dr. Keyes and came over to us and greeted him. One of them asked who was handling his security. Alan looked at me, smiled, and then turned back to the gentleman and said, "you were just over there talking to Him."
The Minutemen looked at him blankly for a second, until it sunk in what he was talking about. When it dawned on them, the look on their faces was pricelesss.
The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation,
My stronghold and my refuge;
My Savior, You save me from violence.
- II Samuel 22:3
Is Keyes the one who’s suing over Obama’s BC?

- his policies are flirting with totalitarianism
- the society he envisions is taking on aspects of a dictatorship
- he is directly associated with the radical ideology of two Marxist figures (Frank Marshall Davis and Saul Alinsky)
- his party seeks to silence dissent, opposition, and criticism, smearing the critics
- his policies will bankrupt the country and destroy the economy
- his election was hailed by Socialists, Communists, and enemy foreign powers
- he is alienated from American Christian culture and normal Americans whom he regards as "bitter" losers clinging to guns and religion
- he seethes with racial resentments
- he is the most radical left-wing figure ever to occupy the White House
- his first major act in office was to use U.S. tax dollars to fund abortions abroad in foreign countries
- a large portion of the American voters who elected him were not informed of his radical connections and past by the mainstream media
- he is a demagogue, making appeals to class warfare to the detriment and harm of the country
- his policies will saddle future generations with trillions of debt
It is, in short, exactly as we warned on FR throughout the presidential campaign. And worse. He is well on his way easily to becoming the worst and most disastrous president in U.S. history with the largest debt and worst economy.
Thanks for posting this.
The Census is always under the control of the party in the White House. I don’t get what difference it makes whether the Commerce Department runs it or whether the White House runs it, its still Democrats for 2010.
I kinda wish Republican Judd Gregg had taken the job at Commerce just to be in those Cabinet meetings when the Census is under discussion in his role as Commerce Secretary, now Gates at Defense and LaHood at Treasury will be the only Republicans in the room.
There is an age old test much simpler that can be applied and it is as follows:
If it walks like a duck
and talks like a duck...
then it must be a duck
It was the temple in the stadium that clinched it for me.
Alan Keyes is not nuts. With this article he is dead on point. Period.
He was a Comrade Commissar.
Keyes is one of the one suing for proof that Obama is a ‘natural born’ citizen.
[from same blog - http://loyaltoliberty.blogspot.com/ - brings you to same]
Until a friend sent me an email about it on Friday, I hadn’t read Senator Coburn’s speech. But on Thursday evening in Hastings, Nebraska, when asked about Obama’s policies, I said that he is a radical communist, and that if Americans who care about liberty (i.e., who don’t want to put a stake in its heart?) do nothing to stop him he’ll bring about the destruction of the United States.
Though I never watch Keith Olbermann’s drivel or anything else on MSNBC (and advise others to practice the same abstinence) I read that in response to my comments he questioned my sanity.
If I’m out of my mind, I guess I’m not the only one.
I also read that Olbermann tried to make something sinister out of my saying that unless Obama is stopped (in his efforts to establish a communist state) the U.S. will be destroyed. Compared to the sort of language used against say, Ronald Reagan and G.W. Bush by Democrat and left wing-critics, this is a polite and reasonable exhortation to political action. However the effort to construe it as something else smacks of the tactics employed at the famous show-trials of Stalin’s era, even as Olbermann’s suggestion of insanity brings to mind the communist practice of committing dissidents to psychiatric hospitals. Could their use of such tactics be the reason Olbermann and his “We’re all socialists now” Newsweek buddies (like his guest for the segment, Jonathan Alter) don’t want us using the “C” word? We might remember the tactics of communist repression, and notice some similarities.

Keyes had a Righteous ( I mean RIGHTEOUS) interview lately-Feb 9- here:
http://www.trunews.com/listen_now.htm
That was one very touching story about your encounter with him in the Denver Park, EternalVigilance.
Sometimes the obvious does NOT go without saying.

They were closer to the truth with the Greek columns and pagan Temple shrine.
But he belongs in a museum. Ripley's Believe It or Not.
HUGS!
BEST POST OF THE DAY!
Love Keyes!!
Now about just plain old PATHETIC?
“Divide and Conquer” is the game plan of any tyrant.
You are playing into the tyrants’ hands when you encourage division in our ranks.
However,
I do realize that some states allow candidates to run under more than one party label.
In those states, alone, your 3rd Party idea is acceptable.
WOW.
Keyes only impresses me more.
If the Republicans nominate a strict-constructionist conservative then I will vote Republican, if they don’t, I won’t.
No, Keyes is as right as rain. Doesn’t mean we’re going to join the Independence party, but he’s still right.
Keyes is a kook, and him screaming this from the rooftops, although accurate, is counter-productive.
Your post is nonsensical.
Because the census creates political districts for TEN years...until the next census.
It isn’t just a 2 year thing.
Third party... yeah, that'll work.
Great story---a man who lives his faith. What a beautiful thing!
An earlier post on Mr. Keyes brought out some bed wetters, which was the gist of my comment here.
OK you won’t have to wait. Keyes HAS been a little nutty in the recent past.
That said... I still like him, and I’m very glad he’s on this like a pit bull. And he still has one of the most excellent intellects in this nation today.
Keyes ping
Conservatives do worry, way too much, about being painted as “kooks” -—
Yes, we need to think about it, we need to make sure our facts are accurate before we take shots at libs -— but, as long as someone is on OUR SIDE, and that person is shooting at the enemy?
This concern over “who speaks for conservatives” is nuts.
“Conservative firing squads always form a circle”
I did not like it that Keyes ran a 3rd Party campaign. I have met the man, several times. I forgive him for his past mistakes. I am happy to have him take shots at Obama.
Keyes is right this time, and he deserves our support.
Well yes except the Constitution of the U.S. places that power in the Legislative Branch. We would need an amendment to the Constitution in order for the Executive Branch to take control of it. Commerce is in the Legislative article.
Legislative Powers Article 1: The actual Enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they shall by law direct.
Yes, one of them.
Yes, one of them.
