Forty-two lawsuits have been filed demanding that Barack Obama produce his vault certificate of birth and prove he’s a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. The tipping point may have been reached to achieve legal critical mass when four Tennessee legislators signed on as plaintiffs in a new lawsuit forcing Obama to prove his U.S. citizenship.

Tennessee State Rep. Eric Swafford and attorney Dr. Orly Taitz spoke about the lawsuit on my radio program.

Former U.S. Ambassador and presidential candidate Alan Keyes is among those filing suit. WorldNetDaily’s Drew Zahn reported on Keyes’ comments in an article over the weekend which included a video in which Keyes boldly calls Obama a communist.

I’ve wondered if G-D is punishing the people. I believe G-D’s protective hand was on this country for a long time.
Then the G-dless things started happening in this country that could have been stopped, maybe he’s removed that protective hand. Abortion is one thing that comes to mind.
A friend told me when abortion started that G-d must have needed a lotta little angels in heaven.
Things have changed, even a b!tch dog will fight for her pups.

Could you elaborate on how BO has messed up traveling between the two countries? Lord knows, he’s messed up everything else so this doesn’t come as a surprise.

Don't know the details but a niece works in management in a factory and stated they were having problems getting their supplies from a supplier in Canada and a nephew, works for a tucking company, stated the drivers for his company said it was a real hassle taking or bringing anything back and forth to/from Canada now. Both stated their companies are hurting with the Michigan economy and this "change" was making it worse.

Are you NUTS? McCain as the son of a military man/woman (active duty) is deemed to be an American citizen no matter where on earth his mother is when he is born.

No one questions that he is an American Citizen. However, it is not in accordance with the strict meaning of the Constitution, to call him a natural born Citizen and eligible to be president.

The MSM ought to be charged with violations of campaign finance laws by the FEC.

Today Bernanke gave the market a shot in the arm by quelling fears of the nationalization of banks.....and the market reacted positively for the first time in a month.

In a few minutes from now, our Feckless Leader will give a speech and if history repeats, the market will drop at the opening. Seems to me this knee jerk reaction in the market to anything Obama has to say would be a major news item. Instead we hear stories of how private businesses conduct themselves. Maybe some them are just trying to make up for the canceled Christmas parties and year end celebrations that followed the Nov. election and subsequent witch hunts during the Stimulus Politburo hearings in congress.

Was there not some act of Congress confirming McCain’s eligibility? If I remember correctly, shortly after McCain was the “last man standing” in the Spring of 2008 someone brought up HIS eligibility, and IIRC there was a resolution or SOMETHING done by Congress that bypassed any concerns about the hospital McCain was born in not being U.S. soil.

I will try to find something to back this up here at FR or on Google - but I’m also hoping someone else on the thread will know what I’m talking about! :)

Again, IIRC, there WAS a problem regarding McCain being born OFF of U.S. soil (in a public hospital in the nearby city - not a military hospital, and not on the Military base). We have to remember that we are dealing with different laws in effect when these gentlemen were born vs. how things are today legally in regards to passing on citizenship. That is why part of this is so hard for the average American to grasp when you explain this — it’s also rather hard to believe that a person COULD get into the White House without these I’s dotted and T’s crossed really... BUT, it HAS obviously happened...

BTW: I agree with your assessment of McCain, Calex, of him being a RINO idiot - although the words I would choose are harsher, I’m afraid. However, one thing I will say on his behalf is that when this issues was broached in the media McCain was forthright - he never tried to hide anything in this matter, and he released ALL records so people could make their own decisions regarding his fitness for office. Obama on the other hand — well, it’s the same as it was throughout the campaign... Nothing can be said harmful towards the image of the “Savior President” they have created...

Anyway, I’ll look into what happened with Congress regarding McCain. I just thought I would pass it along to both of you as you are discussing this. :)
