Comrade Obama thinks all of us are as stupid as the dopes that voted for him. The storm is coming and he will be surprised at the powerful blow back it brings.

If I was a Catholic hospital director I would announce that I would not take the money. And, then announce the closing date.

Catholic hospitals should simply quit accepting federal money.
While I do not agree with any of Obama's rules, I do believe that this type of thing should be a teaching moment for entities which accept federal funds but have disagreements with the strings attached to those funds. Find a way to cut the cord.

Civil disobedience, folks.
Everything the 60’s radicals used to get us here, we'll need to use to take us back to what our Founding Fathers created.

They can’t. Every hospital in the US receives some kind of federal money.

There is one bishop who has said that he will close down, and there are others who have said they will go to jail, I hope they are serious.

so the Catholic hospitals will refuse federal funds...
the Catholic schools have not only survived but prospered for decades without federal funding...
and without federal funding, the hospitals should quit giving medical care to illegal aliens and others showing up at the emergency rooms with non-emergency medical issues...
next...

It isn’t that the government supports them with money, it is that the government supports poor people with Medicaid and then there is Medicare for retirees, all considered government money. So if they can’t accept those they might as well close because they’d just have to become expensive private hospitals that couldn’t help the people they were created to help.

If I was a Catholic hospital director I would announce that I would not take the money. And, then announce the closing date.I hear you - there comes a time when one must stand on principle. And, this is such a time.
I sense quite a few doctors easing into early retirement over this issue (not to mention the national health care boondoggle).

Don’t you just love the way leftists respond when their plans are exposed?
“Oh, that law/idea/agenda doesn’t even exist, you’re just making stuff up.”
Libs, this is YOU:
