Holy God,
Grant healing and rest unto Barbara as she recovers from surgery, and may she be restored to complete health, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I wish her a smooth recovery...but just wondering...is there such a thing as a Closed Heart Surgery?

Some of it is open chest surgery, but anything with the aorta, they’re actually opening the heart.

Well, yes, that's when they send a tiny robot through your veins to do some work in the heart (that's all I know, not being an Internet Surgeon.)
To: CedarDave
Get well soon Gentle Lady,we miss your class. Our family will be praying for her.
Did ABC really refer to her as X instead of former? It sounds like they are missing the class that the Bush family has.

No, but as far as missing both Bush first ladies and the Reagans.

I have two friends who have had open heart surgery done by BB’s doctor. He’s good.

Thank you for that photo. We visited the Bush Presidential library last week, my younger son is a big fan of Millie and her puppies. He loved that each stop in the place had a little dog house with the answers to the questions on his clipboard. Also the dog house that was made to look like the White House was a big hit.

God bless her and a speedy recovery. If this was an elective surgery before the aorta dissected she should make a full recovery. I’m not a doctor of course, just someone with aortic dillation and must keep an eye on it from year to year.
