Finally, some spare time. Between a lot of work that came in last week and preparing for the March 21 Defend Arlington Cemetery Freep, I finally have some spare time. Not much though.
WEEK 165 - March 07,2009
Moonbats are like cold blooded animals. When it is cold and rainy, there numbers are low or they dont show. But when it is warm, they emerge from their assisted living condos and dis-honor our brave military.
BELOW: I was also surprised that the Quackers, who do not to pledge allegiance to any Country had American flags attached to their banner today. And one of their signs had the U.N. logo on it. But even as they express patriotism through their protest, a passing biker waves to us.
BELOW: They are also not very proud of their message. Their signs are just too small to read. One dinkie sign had the words Imagine Peace while the other had the Quakers Peace organization on it.
But we persevere through all types of weather. The other Patriots this Saturday included Legionnaire Glenn (USMC - WWII), Bob (WWII), Halsey (USMC - Korea), Frank (Army - Korea), Dennis (Army - Vietnam) with Lurker Bill and FReepers Cindy_True_Supporter, {Mrs} Tropprally, and myself.

BELOW LEFT: Frank and Halsey with Lurker Bill and Cindy_True_Supporter in the back ground. BELOW RIGHT: Halsey talking to passing motorist. They were asking how they can help. Halsey told them to donate to the USO or other military support organization.
BELOW LEFT: Dennis, Halsey and Bob. BELOW RIGHT: Frank and Hes Every Where Halsey.
BELOW LEFT: Our own [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s) made it out today, posed for her pic under the Army flag. BELOW LEFT: And also our own, Cindy_True_Supporter (Army - early 70s)
BELOW: And of course, ever faithful Glenn. Semper Fi!!
BELOW: Some of [Mrs] Ts shoots of passing supporters.
WEEK 165 - March 07,2009
This week brought meager FReepers on our corner and no Legionnaires. The Legionnaires had an emergency Lions Club meeting. Olney really is a small community where our stalwarts overlap different organizations. It is a great place to live despite the Quaker presence (5 of them, weather was chillier than last week when they had 10).
But the Terrible Threes were there countering the Quakers. We were Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, and myself.
BELOW: Being so few of us, we were kept busy. I had a hard time getting Cindy_True_Supporter and Lurker Bill to look at the camera at the same time.
WARNING TO FREEPERS ATTENDING OLNEY
Some new money making have been installed on north bound Georgia Avenue right before you enter the main business district. Slow your speed after the light at King William Drive.
And a new one has been placed just south of Brookeville, between Brookeville and the Longwood Community Center.
REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney
NEW TIME - 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
But a lot of verbal engagement in Olney is always welcome.
Every SECOND and LAST Saturday of the month. We like to get there a little before 3:30PM and stay till about 4:45, after the moonbats have left the scene.
If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.
A special Thanks to a FReeper FRiend for enhancing the original plain type directions.
The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.

D.C. Chapter Master Ping List
Calling it a day, I’ll check back in the AM
Hope your St Patrick’s Day went well.
Thank you for caring. In memory of my submariner father who always sang the Star Spangled Banner. Thank you.
THANK YOU AND GOLD BLESS.
Whoo Hoo! I am so proud of you true blue Patriots in my old stompin’ grounds, Olney, MD. Love you guys!
Thanks for getting the word out that you are still there “STANDING” for all of us!
God Bless you father.
We are all thankful for his service. Our WWII Navy Legionnaire hasn’t been out for a while due to the cold and the health of his wife. He does still make the Legion and Lions meetings.
[Mr] T
You are both welcome from the Olney Patriots.
[Mr] T
Yea, with Montgomery County being basically a 'blue' County, I guess you calling us "true blue Patriots" is true. You would really be surprised at how many honks, waves and cheers we get on Saturday mornings. One can count the same for the moonbats on your fingers.
How long has it been since you've been in the Olney area?
When will you be back to join us?
[Mr] T
Bump to the patriots!
GREAT double report and great pictures by [Mrs] T! Awesome to see you back on the corner [Mrs] T!
Thanks to all you Patriots and Legionnaires in Olney!
