OK. that's it! If you're a rump ranger or a slit slapper, I personally don't want to know about it. I certainly don't want my children hearing about it, and I absolutely do not what them taught that this kind of behavior is just hunky dory in grade school. SO SUE ME or get me sent to a "Get your mind right camp". Good luck with that.

The Obama administration will endorse a U.N. declaration calling for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality... Translation: The Obama administration will endorse the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah, there by bringing upon this nation the wrath of Almighty God and fire and brimstone, which is a token of eternal damnation..

Are there any news stories about Muslim theocratical governments that will not support this UN thing?
Can, or will, the UN pressure Arab/Islamic/Muslim/whatever nations to at least not imprison or execute homosexuals?
I’m tired of this whole “Gay Rights” thing, I think consenting adults ARE going to do whatever makes them happy. And I have no problem with that - I am not God.
My big problem is not only is this Gay stuff supposed to be openly accepted, but that the liberals are forcing taxpayer money to be spent indoctrinating our youth that it is a viable and accepted lifestyle choice. I’m 42 and from Chicago, and I’d like to see a return to health / sex ed class as I went through it as a teen - the teachers I had were awesome. I learned everything I needed to know either from my family (The moral parts), or the early 80’s public school system (health related) I attended.
The stuff I hear of that goes on now in our schools sickens me

Did the UN check with their islamic backers yet? Especially Iran.
All those pictured hanged in Iran for the crime of "homosexuality".

“Some Islamic countries said at the time that protecting sexual orientation could lead to “the social normalization and possibly the legalization of deplorable acts” such as pedophilia and incest.”
This just makes me laugh. What an oxymoron.

Will the Cult of Death countries obey this? or is it just so that they can throw ministers in jail for reading from the Bible?

From the article:
“Gay rights and other groups had criticized the Bush administration when it refused to sign the declaration when it was presented at the United Nations on Dec. 19. U.S. officials said then that the U.S. opposed discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation but that parts of the declaration raised legal questions that needed further review.”
Does anyone remember what parts Bush objected to? Are there mandates for countries signing on to this regarding laws? This is a HUGE PROBLEM! It’s one thing to stand up against discrimination (whether based on sex, race, sexual orientation, etc...). It’s a COMPLETELY SEPARATE issue for the U.S. to sign onto ANYTHING from the U.N. that attempts to legislate ANYTHING in our country...
Bush didn’t not sign this because he wanted to discriminate, he refused to sign it because things like this promoted by the U.N. can be considered completely UNCONSTITUTIONAL... Not that Obama cares one whit about the Constitution as we can plainly see by his actions already...
Can anyone say “One World Government” (I knew you could...)! This just brings us one step closer to being ruled by the U.N. and losing our sovereignty, AND our rights. Someone pinch me and wake me up from this nightmare!!!

HELLO!!! Everyone on this thread is missing the big picture here! It's not about HOMOSEXUALITY!!!!!!!
The REAL issue here is Obama's willingness to sign on to a U.N. declaration! What are the mandates included in this declaration? Bush spoke about LEGAL ISSUES which to me signals a problem with this declaration in regards to CONSTITUTIONAL ISSUES...
While I understand everyone's religious and moral convictions about homosexuality can we all just take a moment and STOP knee-jerking on this just because it deals with gays?
The actions that are a problem - again - are the Unconstitutional aspects of this act by our POTUS. If there is ANYTHING in this declaration that includes a mandate regarding OUR LAWS - then Obama is NOT ALLOWED to sign this! There is NOTHING higher than our Constitution and even if we were to agree with EVERYTHING in this declaration - signing it would STILL be wrong!!!
The type of reaction on this thread gives the Gay Activists MORE ammunition to use against us! I'm not suggesting that people give up talking about their personal religious and moral beliefs, but again - HOMOSEXUALITY is NOT the issue here!!! The U.S. Constitution and our nation's sovereignty IS.

The UN would do a lot less damage in the world if it just limited itself to its work on behalf of Homosexual Lifestyle Advocacy.
Same goes for 0bama.
