Damn right. The president should take a stronger stand against the bonuses. The absolute hubris is amazing.

As Rush says, this is precisely what they want, to distract people from the REAL agenda, the war on business and capitalism. I agree.

Standing up to Wall Street and representing the taxpayers??

Taxpayers don’t want to beat up on Wall Street. Their futures are tied to Wall Street.
They just don’t want their Government giving certain hand picked companies special treatment, handing over trillions of dollars in free money at their expense.

People are angry because their small businesses are also in financial trouble because of the economy, but no one in Washington is going to be handing them fistfuls of free cash. People don’t want or expect that kind of treatment from the Government, and it makes them angry to see that a special few get it.

The Fed suddenly created a Trillion Dollars out of thin air, and the House voted to enslave the entire U.S. population yesterday, and all you hear about from the MSM is executive bonuses. That’s the outrage.

The jackasses are talking out both sides of their mouths and wanting it both ways. They better hope that calamitous inflation doesn’t occur, because then the media’s “both sides are to blame” message will be derided. That’s the message the media uses to protect Democrats when they have total power.

Remember 1980:

Problems are insurmountable.

No party or movement caused this.

It’s the American people’s fault. They have a malaise.

Did BO also mention that he received a $101,332 bonus from American International Group in the form of political contributions according to Opensecrets.org.

[AIG means big trouble for Obama’s big agenda. Does he understand that?]

No, Obama believes he walks on water.

I think this whole bonus business with AIG is another orchestrated situation by Obama. He wants people to despise Wall Street who his supporters equate with Rich Republicans. The more it looks like the rich are making money, the more those who believe they are the "entitled" will support Obama.

He wanted this to erupt, so he could make it look like he was against it…and will, eventually, take claim of any measures to resolve it. The general public will believe he has stood up for them, and they will forget (or won’t believe) that he was the one who had the loophole inserted in the Stimulus plan in the first place that allowed these bonuses. And, this happening now gives the people something to focus on rather than the larger issue – that is how Obama is destroying this country and capitalism here.

It is just like the October Fannie/Freddie collapse. That was planned by the Dems to erupt then just at a crucial moment in the campaign, in order that Obama could be made to look like he was the candidate who could solve that mess.

Nothing like this happens that hasn’t been planned by the politicians involved (or should I say actors) who all know that if you give the general public something to rage about that they can understand, (as was done in Rome with the masses – they were “treated” to the games in the coliseum to take their minds off their miseries) you can get away with other things you don’t want them to know.

It doesn’t matter to the Dems if one or any of them is implicated in these schemes. They know Obama will protect them and they will just go on as usual. They are all willing to take the fall or blame for a moment, because their dear Obama has them covered.

It's all a distraction from the real problems.

Chris Dodd is the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and getting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the industry that he is supposed to be regulating.

Barney Frank is lobbying hard for Fanny Mae and is getting hundreds of thousand back from them.

John Murtha is collecting bribes and laundering the money by having people make campaign contributions and then reimbursing them with the bribe money.

Obama recieves over $100,000 from AIG and then signs special legislation that provides them with billions in taxpayer money and allows the executives who ran it into the ground to collect millions in bonuses.

Somehow I'm sure that it's all Bush's fault. ;o)

The whole point is: Dodd put the bonuses in the stimulus package to begin with. He knew damn well they were there! Dodd and Obama were number 1 and 2 on the list of AIG’s recipients of campaign donations! WHY IN HELL ISN’T THE DAMN MEDIA REPORTING THIS! Now Obama has the balls to condem the bonuses he knew were put in there by his clown?
What in hell is going on? do these idiots know people with an IQ of a rock can figure their dog and pony show out?

Yeah, people need to stop harassing them about the stimulus/economy and let them focus on their most important issue -- Rush Limbaugh!/s
