Doing Quicken input for taxes, I listened to my 6-hour radio series of the BBC's "Hitchhiker's Guide" that I managed to get my hands on back in the mid '80s. It struck me how ironically similar Zaphod was to Obama -- only Obama lacks Zaphod's coolness. Obama is a roiling geek. Heck, the tortuous poetry of the Vogon Captain didn't hold a candle to the stuff heard at Obama's inauguration!
I believe the comment was about the character, not the actress who played her. I understand that the actress, Margaret Hamiliton, who played the Wicked Witch in 30's version of "The Wizard of Oz", and was later Grandma Frump in the Adams Family (wearing the same dress she wore as Elmira Gulch in "Oz"), was very nice as well. She also was featured in Maxwell House coffee commercials as a store keeper who only sold that brand. :)

So what you believe is that freedom of speech is fine as long as no one comes back to you with an argument or expresses their outrage at your insensitive comments. You are certainly allowed your opinion but don't say it is PC when someone expresses their opinion about yours. Freedom of speech is indeed about expressing your view points and it works both ways, a**hat.
Also, you say you would never say such things to parents of special needs children, and then go on to say that you just did. How true, how many parents of special needs children do you think are on FR?

I listened to this segment and Rush opined that Obama was an arrogant and cold individual. Rush was tactful; displaying a modicum of restraint. Better descriptives of Obama would be duplicitous, two-faced, mendacious, insecure, self-centered, heartless; imbecilic.
