Congress cannot amend the Constitution.
It would be as convoluted as the tax code if they could...

"I believe it also applies to the Vice President." The VP simply must meet all the same eligibility criteria as the President (and be from a different state).

I dunno.
The 1st amendment says “Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech...” but there is CFR.
The 2nd Amendment says “...shall not be be infringed” but there are Federal gun control laws.
The 5th Amendment says “No person shall be... deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.” but we have RICO and Imminent Domain and various perversions of wildlife and wetlands protection acts. Not to mention abortion.
Seems to me there is plenty of precedent for bypassing the Constitution through few carefully worded laws.

This issue has moved way beyond a few hundred of us, labeled idiots by the elites on FR condemning us like we were the enemies.
As AJMCO noted, "This is not going to go away Mr. Soetoro!"

If Obama is found ineligible, then Biden is ineligible too. If the Obama electoral ticket was invalid then Biden is no more President than I am.
That is what I've been hearing constitutional experts saying, and all the laws he's signed would be invalid too.

By this definition neither candidate was a natural born citizen. Nor is Bobby Jindal. Your name truly fits your argument. Neither McCain or Jindal are the President, your point is moot.
Nice try

By this definition neither candidate was a natural born citizen. Nor is Bobby Jindal.
Neither is my older brother for that matter. (LOL!)
My dad was born in Norway in 23 and came here when he was about 7 years old. Right after Pearl Harbor, he tried to enlist in the military but was turned down because he wasnt a citizen. A year later he was drafted and served with honor in an infantry unit in the South Pacific.
Ive been helping my niece with her Ancestry.com project and last weekend I brought a metal box containing all my dads papers among them, birth certificates, his Army life insurance policy, his discharge papers and his naturalization document.
He didnt officially become a naturalized citizen until 1950; a year after my brother was born. But interestingly I also found a letter from one of his commanders during the war that shows he attempted to get naturalized while in the army but the government lost his initial paperwork.
I recall my father telling me that the judge conducting the swearing ceremony told my dad it was only a formality since when he took the oath of military service and his distinguished service record that had already become a citizen.
I dont know if thats legally true or not or whether or not my brother is a natural born citizen, but Ive had great fun telling my brother that he isnt, were as I am. :),

The author is an idiot.
Natural born citizen means simply this...
By the natural act of being born, one had U.S. citizenship.
A natural born citizen is thus one who did not need a “naturalization” process to become a citizen, as by the natural act of being born they are a citizen.

Someone who spells could help with the dossier. Tempering (what one does to chocolate or steel) vs tampering (interfering in a harmful way) and brake (a device for stopping a vehicle) vs break (smash).
I know it is pickayune stuff, but it makes the document look like it was filed by someone who is uneducated.

This lovely little Russian refugee is working herself to exhaustion to save YOUR country. It is reported that she is surviving on 3-4 hours sleep per night and is bearing much of the expense of her lawsuits herself. Dr. Orly is requesting researchers, lawyers, letter writers and other volunteers.
