Zogby: Obama's Job Performance Drops Under 50%

Those Saying U.S. Headed in Right Direction Continue to Increase, Now 45%

However, Obama's Job Performance Drops Under 50%

UTICA, NY - A March 20-23 Zogby Interactive survey shows 45% of likely voters believe the nation is headed in the right direction, a gain of five points from a similar survey completed on March 5. At the beginning of the year, only 14% held that positive view.

However, President Barack Obama's ratings for job performance and favorability did not improve over earlier this month. In the most recent survey, 49% rate his job performance as excellent or good and 50% as fair or poor (less than 1% were not sure.) That is a dip of three points from the previous poll. The percentages who feel very or somewhat favorable toward Obama remained unchanged between the two polls, with 55% now and 56% in the previous poll.

There are still huge partisan differences in opinions about Obama. For example, 91% of Democrats rate Obama favorably, compared to 14% of Republicans. On Obama's job performance, 87% of Democrats grade it as excellent or good, compared to 9% of Republicans.

Sample size of the survey was 4,523, with a margin of error of  +/- 1.5%.  Margins of error are higher in sub-groups.

This table shows attitudes about the nation's direction from Zogby Interactive polls this year:

Is the nation headed in the right or wrong direction?

March 23

March 5

14%

Wrong Direction

The movement toward "right direction" from January 8, prior to the Obama Inauguration, to January 26 came from Obama voters, and that has continued. For example, these are the increases in those choosing "right direction" between the March 5 poll and this most recent one: Democrats +9, Obama voters +8, liberals +7 and African-Americans +13.

There has been virtually no change in the direction question among Republican base voters. Choosing "right direction" in the most recent survey were: Republicans 9%, McCain voters 5% and conservatives 6%. Among Born-again Christians, 32% chose "right direction", an increase of 6 points from Jan. 26.

“Rahm Emanuel is to Barack Obama what Howrd K. Stern was to Anna Nicole Smith.”

Meaning: Rahm insists he’s Barack’s boyfriend and the two had a baby together? ;-)

Well, there you have it. Americans prefer socialism.”

America lost 2 million jobs in those 4 months where the ‘right track’ numbers climbed ... that shows how insane Obama supporters are.

America is objectively hurting, but its on the ‘right track’ due to a Zero in the White House.

Don’t forget the picnic table and plastic chairs, too.

Keep in mind that many mod Dems do not believe in the things that the radical left wants to do. “

Keep in mind that the radical left OWNS the Democrat party, has a lock on committee chairs and runs Congress and the White House.

Keep in mind that moderate Democrat is an oxymoron in those conditions. so-called blue dogs are really “Pelosi poodles”. Keep in mind that almost ALL of them voted for massive budget-busting stimulus.

“You are seeing them run away from the spending and high deficits and that is only the beginning.” - There is a budget committee vote tonight.

I was asked by Redstate to call one of five Congressmen to get them to vote no on the budget.

“Ask for one of these five Congressmen:

1. Alan Boyd of Florida

2. Bob Etheridge of North Carolina

3. Charlie Melancon of Louisiana

4. Chet Edwards of Texas

5. John Yarmuth of Kentucky

Tell them to vote no on the budget tonight. We can stop the budget if you will pick up your phone right now. The vote is tonight.”

If what you say is true, these critters will need to peel off and vote no. A “YES” vote on this is a vote for socialism in America.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama doesn’t even make it through one term with all of this “mess” that both he and the leftist Congress are creating, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Obama does makes it through two terms (or even more, if leftists decide to ignore term limits for the POTUS and/or end the idea of having elections in the first place). There are also plenty of the ways that leftists can successfully add to the total pro-leftist voter rolls (adding illegal immigrants as future leftist voters and adding just about all criminals in jail as future leftist voters, as two examples). I also see the general public as becoming even more “politically ignorant” and/or becoming even more “politically stupid” by the time that ‘10, ‘12, and beyond comes around, thanks to the assiduous worsening of everything related to worldwide political correctness. Conservatism must successfully get around all of these things that I have mentioned, if it’s ever going to become a serious and long-term political majority again at some point in the future, and I really don’t see this ever happening in the future, unless a majority of non-leftists successfully get together and then have either a successful revolution occur or a successful civil war occur.

Has anybody yet photoshopped one of those Obama “Hope” posters with an “N” replacing the “H”? (or maybe a “D”)?

More like George Soros is to Barack Obama what Geppetto was to Pinochio.

Finally some GOOD news!
Zero will have a zero rating way before 2012. He talks of his “first term”, as if he will get the chance to have a second one. By 2012, his foreign birth will have been exposed for all to see. I hope he spends his dreamed of second term in federal prison.

We all hope Obama will be a one-termer, and it certainly looks more likely each day.

That said...have you ever been more glad for the 22nd Amendment?

That said...have you ever been more glad for the 22nd Amendment? Imagine having to put up with this putz for four terms like FDR.

Online polls done by serious polling outfits are not the sort that can be freeped. The participants are pre-selected and there are other safeguards. It’s just as reliable as a phone poll.

It must be the latter, because there aren’t enough Dominionists in this country to fill up a phone booth.

Wow. Last week it was at 50% wasn’t it? It just keeps going down... That should give him a clue, but he’s so stubborn and egotistical it probably won’t. That should give ALL of CONGRESS a clue as well...
