My grandson is in a local high school. Today he texted his father informing him that the school is showing Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth. A lot of parents are upset.
We need to demand NOT that they stop showing it but that they present both sides of the Global warming controversy. The Liberals want the Fairness Doctrine revived let's give them a taste of it. Schools should be teaching students 'how to think' not 'what to think'. Can anyone inform me of a film which is available to contradict this? I will be grateful for your assistance.
Do you have info on the school administrators? We could send some emails to suggest the film is not appropriate.
For that to work the teachers themselves must know how to think. And if they did, they wouldn't be teaching the ... 'garbage' they teach.
There was a Channel 4 Documentary (UK) debunking this. I’ll go dig it up for ya’.
Just teaching the kids to read, write and do rithmatic would be ok with me. All this other stuff can wait until college. Wish I could help on the other films. I’m sure someone knows of some.

Ayn Rand once wrote an essay about how the collectivists would use “environmentalism” as an excuse to levy control and roll back progress. It’s in her non-fiction work, but I don’t remember where. But it’s from 1969 I think... so she called it LONG ago.
Numerous people have debunked the “facts” in Al Gore “ManBearPig’s” propaganda movie. High school students have even debunked the falsehoods in the movie. Even a court Identified eleven fallsehoods. Here:
They don’t show the movie because it’s accurate they show it because of the emotional resoponse. AWWWW look were destroying all the Icebergs and Polar Bears with our SUV’s. Even if you refute it with facts the brain dead libs won’t believe you! I mean why would Al Gore lie to them?? He dosen’t stand to gain Millions of Dollars and global adoration does he??

If you are in California, just pull him out for the day. The schools loose money if a child is not in school. Money speaks louder than words these days.

I always tell my sons to just ignore the teacher and the nonsense that passes for knowledge in the public schools. The very existence of public schools is a threat to our liberties... The government started public schools to teach youngsters to never doubt their master - the government.
The light of freedom is strong because 70 years of public schools hasn’t completely drowned it out but BHO is here to finish the job.
