administration, the only fully identified inquirers plucked from the audience, it turns out, were Obama campaign supporters.
At last week's "Open for Questions" forum, the full transcript and video of which is posted on the White House website, Obama answered several questions selected from a reported 100,000 queries posted online.
He also took a handful of questions, in town hall fashion, from those in attendance at the event.
But according to a Washington Post report, those audience members the president chose included "a member of the pro-Obama Service Employees International Union, a member of the Democratic National Committee who campaigned for Obama among Hispanics during the primary;
a former Democratic candidate for Virginia state delegate who endorsed Obama last fall in an op-ed in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star; and a Virginia businessman who was a donor to Obama's campaign in 2008."

We are coming upon a time when the global community will be reviewing, reevaluating and rewriting the Kyoto Protocol. This is the document that each and every country will have to agree to in our win over climate change.
Todd Stern is the man who is representing YOU in those talks.
Hillary Clinton appointed him yesterday to head a larger group of people responsible that will be known as the Global Climate Change Envoy, stating:
“As we take steps at home, we will also vigorously pursue negotiations, those sponsored by the United Nations and those at the sub-global, regional and bilateral level, that can lead to binding international climate agreements,” Clinton said. “No solution is feasible without all major emitting nations joining together and playing an important part.”
Todd Stern was a senior White House advisor under President Clinton, so maybe it won’t surprise you that Hillary Clinton appointed him to his latest position. However, please do not assume this is just nepotism. His credentials do justify this role.
Time Magazine has published some facts about Mr. Sterns:
Law degree from Harvard in 1977 and After completing his law degree, Stern served as an attorney for the Legal Aid Society for two years, followed by more than a decade working for private firms
Under President Clinton, he was the senior White House negotiator at the Kyoto Protocol negotiations, which called for the stabilization of greenhouse gas emissions.
Currently a senior fellow at the think tank Center for American Progress, where he focuses on climate change and environmental issues. He is also a member of the (Council on Foreign Relations) and a vice chair of public policy for the law firm Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.

Well, I wish I could agree with you.
But if this forum is any indication, people aren't interested in asking difficult questions. I posted about the "Open for Questions" event on Tuesday at "Open for Questions: Pres__ent Obama to Answer Your Questions on Thursday." There was a followup thread posted by FreeInWV Wednesday evening at "Open for Questions - Your Questions on the Economy (Digg clone needs a Freepin')."
Yet the top questions were about education and legalizing marijuana. We Freepers couldn't get a tough economic question into the top 5. We couldn't even agree on which questions to push up the charts.
It's tough to say that the site was rigged. We never really tried to push any difficult questions up to the top. Obama might have ignored them, but we'll never really know.
Where were you born and why are you hiding your personal documentation?
And frankly why should we?
Besides that when you have the majority of the questions clamoring for pie..ie: "free" $$$....I would think it pretty hard for a couple hundred FReepers to make a dent.
But then again....we don't trust them, and WHY SHOULD WE?
