Venture capitalist Scott Murphy (D) will win the special election in New York's 20th district by 210 votes after all outstanding absentee and military ballots are counted, according to projections made by Democratic Party officials and obtained by the Fix.
The projections -- based off of the county performances by Murphy and state Assemblyman Jim Tedisco (R) on election night -- show the Democrat gaining 115 votes in Warren County, 96 votes in Columbia County and 70 votes in Washington County as well as scoring smaller gains in several other counties. Tedisco's only major gain, according to the model, will be in Saratoga County where he will net an additional 116 votes.
The Democratic projection puts the total number of absentee and military ballots at 5,584 with Murphy winning 2,864 and Tedisco taking 2,720. On election night, Murphy held a 65-vote lead -- 77,344 to 77,279.

The Democrats know how to work this stuff.
they will try to have military ballots thrown out
Based on all recent elections, I would say that the GOP is toast.
Pretty easy to predict the margin when you know the number of fraudulent ballots ginned up previously ...
This is just ugly, come on military always vote Republican, I can see another Minnesota melt down coming.
I’m smelling something fishy about these close Rat races.
And work it they will. There is maybe a 2% chance that he can pull this out against the schemers.
“after all outstanding absentee and military ballots are counted”
They mean, after all the military ballots are rejected and they “find” ballots, courtesy of ACORN.
Yup, and the WashPost is helping the DNC as usual. Any decent journalist or honest person would have reversed the order of the first sentence and started with “According to...” Instead, they knew the reader will skim the first line of the sentence and presume Murphy will win.
Par for course.
When it comes to close election contests, the ‘Rats win about 99.999999% of the time. They know how to make it happen. The ‘Rat will “win” this seat, it’s a pretty safe bet. The sure sign of doom is if the ‘Pubs file in court. That is the kiss of death. They won’t get any justice there.
So the idiot Democrats are assuming that the absentees will break exactly as the in-person vote went in each county? Without even considering the party registration of the persons that requested absentee ballots?
David Fredosso on The Corner looked at the party ID for those requesting absentee ballots, and it doesn’t look bad at all for Tedisco.

Damn, that’s the area where I saw a woman with a Hillary sticker in a grave yard with a clip board. She was acting suspicious when she saw me stop the car to look. Hmmmmmm ?
That was in 2000.
Personally, based on how I've seen elections go over the past few years, I'm not sure I'll bother in the future. I just can't take these outcomes seriously.
The Democrats/Liberals just keep complaining, fighting, annoying...they intend to wear down people until they give up.
Since most of them work in jobs that afford them a lot of free time (or they steal time from their employers), they seem to have much more power.
They’re just like the “protesters” at the G-20 summit.
They know the precise numbers because they have already PRINTED extra ballots. They are in someone’s back seat.
Can you smell the STENCH?
Based on all recent elections, I would say that the GOP is toast.
In this election and many to come. Ugh...
Democrats find votes in strange places after the polls close. Ho hum.
How can they predict this? How do they know how all those absentees voted?
If correct, the GOP cannot continue to lose votes after election day. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Do you see how close these elections are? Staying home won't help. You are part of the problem if you're not part of the solution...
If the GOP gets a clue and runs someone better, maybe I'll go vote for 'em. I do like Sarah Palin. But I see the Republican party picking RINOs as nominees and I see the Democrats engaging in naked election fraud, and I just don't see why I need to participate in that game.
And although I've never missed an election since 1978 (and I've never voted for a single Democrat), I am quite tired of the mantra: "Democrats win because Republicans refuse to vote". I think that is SERIOUSLY missing the real problem. The problem is two-fold: 1) The GOP does not oppose Democrat policies, and 2) The Democrats cheat.
Something smells...
Even if Tedisco squeaks it out, he lost. He should have won by 6,000 votes. Steele is a retard, and should be fired. I don’t care if the Left screams “high-tech lynching!”. Get rid of the loser.
Last I heard the House GOP stood united against the stimulus.
The GOP stands strong and united in opposition only when it serves no purpoise to do so.
I believe a large purpose was served.
When the stimulus goes into effect and all the corruption and failure is seen, EVERY House GOP member can say, "we told you so".
This is capable of having a very large effect come Nov. '10.
“they will try to have military ballots thrown out”
And they are often successful... unfortunately.
“The Democratic projection puts the total number of absentee and military ballots at 5,584 with Murphy winning 2,864 and Tedisco taking 2,720”
And how the hell would they know that, considered they’ve been “sequestered” by a judge? Sounds to me like some “special counting” has been occurring here.
Once again, another close “election” to the dems. We are toast.
“When the stimulus goes into effect and all the corruption and failure is seen...”
Who’s going to the let the sheeple see the corruption and failure? The MSM? LOL!!!
The rats are willing to lie, cheat, and steal with absolutely no shame or conscience. The gutless Republicans don’t stand a chance.
“to the let” = “to let”
Long day..
no democrats have learned. Absentee ballots are a license to print victory.
You don’t need the actual voter, just a willing notary IF THAT.
Nursing homes are the best with old people who are clueless.
If a republican does not win by a wide marging the fraud allows the taking.
I can't argue with that, but now that the radical libs have taken over the Rat party, there's NOTHING whatsoever to stop them from digging a hole so deep we'll never get out, while weakening our military, redistricting to keep themselves in power, and rigging the voting system so profoundly that everywhere they want, there will be a "D" behind the incumbent.
“they will try to have military ballots thrown out”
______________
I live by a large military base and have had several interesting conversations in the last few weeks. I don’t think the GOP can count on military votes the way we used to. The racial and ethnic make-up of today’s military has resulted in strong support amongst military members who used to stay home or show no interest- but support for OBAMA. How anyone can vote against their interests so obviously, I don’t know but it seems to be the case.
This is just temporary. Most of the military, especially Whites, Asians, and Latinos, backed McCain in the election (80%-20%). Only Blacks in the military backed Obama with a majority, and it was a much closer margin than the general population (2/3).
Yep: the GOP cannot win an election unless they can somehow make it honest and that nowadays is impossible. They are dead in the water here. Since supposedly they had a 70,000 voter registration plus, they ought to be ashamed they could not win this one . It shows how the Dems get out the vote and then cheat to make sure.
“(is the “fix” in?)”
If it is, I smell ACORN, or it’s affiliates. Working families party is an affiliate, btw.
Politics1 states Murphy’s lead has dropped to 25 (just on initially reviewing the ballots cast on election day).
“NEW YORK. A review of the votes cast in Columbia County narrowed the CD-20 special election results, with both men losing some votes accidentally double-tabulated. After the correction, venture capitalist Scott Murphy (D) leads State Assembly Minority Leader Jim Tedisco (R) by just 25 votes — out of over 152,000 cast. The race, however, will ultimately be decided by the thousands of still uncounted absentee and provisional ballots.”
Until people start being convicted of election fraud and spend years in prison, this crap is only going to get worse. The whole country is becoming Chicago.
The rats Coleman/Franken predictions mysteriously came true.
But I’m encouraged that the Republican actually GAINED in the recanvass. When does that ever happened?
That happened when ever does.
Yes I meant to written “happen”.
