Venture capitalist Scott Murphy (D) will win the special election in New York's 20th district by 210 votes after all outstanding absentee and military ballots are counted, according to projections made by Democratic Party officials and obtained by the Fix.
The projections -- based off of the county performances by Murphy and state Assemblyman Jim Tedisco (R) on election night -- show the Democrat gaining 115 votes in Warren County, 96 votes in Columbia County and 70 votes in Washington County as well as scoring smaller gains in several other counties. Tedisco's only major gain, according to the model, will be in Saratoga County where he will net an additional 116 votes.
The Democratic projection puts the total number of absentee and military ballots at 5,584 with Murphy winning 2,864 and Tedisco taking 2,720. On election night, Murphy held a 65-vote lead -- 77,344 to 77,279.

The Democrats know how to work this stuff.
they will try to have military ballots thrown out
Based on all recent elections, I would say that the GOP is toast.
Pretty easy to predict the margin when you know the number of fraudulent ballots ginned up previously ...
This is just ugly, come on military always vote Republican, I can see another Minnesota melt down coming.
I’m smelling something fishy about these close Rat races.
And work it they will. There is maybe a 2% chance that he can pull this out against the schemers.
“after all outstanding absentee and military ballots are counted”
They mean, after all the military ballots are rejected and they “find” ballots, courtesy of ACORN.
Yup, and the WashPost is helping the DNC as usual. Any decent journalist or honest person would have reversed the order of the first sentence and started with “According to...” Instead, they knew the reader will skim the first line of the sentence and presume Murphy will win.
Par for course.
When it comes to close election contests, the ‘Rats win about 99.999999% of the time. They know how to make it happen. The ‘Rat will “win” this seat, it’s a pretty safe bet. The sure sign of doom is if the ‘Pubs file in court. That is the kiss of death. They won’t get any justice there.
So the idiot Democrats are assuming that the absentees will break exactly as the in-person vote went in each county? Without even considering the party registration of the persons that requested absentee ballots?
David Fredosso on The Corner looked at the party ID for those requesting absentee ballots, and it doesn’t look bad at all for Tedisco.

Damn, that’s the area where I saw a woman with a Hillary sticker in a grave yard with a clip board. She was acting suspicious when she saw me stop the car to look. Hmmmmmm ?
That was in 2000.
Personally, based on how I've seen elections go over the past few years, I'm not sure I'll bother in the future. I just can't take these outcomes seriously.
The Democrats/Liberals just keep complaining, fighting, annoying...they intend to wear down people until they give up.
Since most of them work in jobs that afford them a lot of free time (or they steal time from their employers), they seem to have much more power.
They’re just like the “protesters” at the G-20 summit.
They know the precise numbers because they have already PRINTED extra ballots. They are in someone’s back seat.
Can you smell the STENCH?
Based on all recent elections, I would say that the GOP is toast.
In this election and many to come. Ugh...
Democrats find votes in strange places after the polls close. Ho hum.
