I'd have to agree with that. I was never a big fan of President Bush but husband Bush seemed wonderful and no wonder with a wife like that. Mrs. Bush, always classy, I have a great deal of respect for her. The quintessential first lady.
I liked it! The band across the empire waist was a bit much but I like it!

I guess this wouldn’t apply to His Barackness and Aunt Esther,but according to US Diplomatic protocol, since the beginning of the Republic, Americans bow down or curtsy to no one.
A famous brouhaha took place when the recently deceased Lee Annenberg, Nancy Reagan’s BFF and wife of Ambassador Walter Annenberg curtsied to Charles and Diana when they arrived in DC.
The Annenbergs were Conservatives and part of Reagan’s inner circle, so they got hell from the MSM.
I thought that was the case but I wasn’t completely sure. Thanks for educating me.

Thanks for the ping! I agree with the person who said the sweater looks like it was added as an afterthought when an aide discovered that it was in bad taste to go sleeveless when meeting the Queen. Michelle was still able to bring out “the guns” later...LOL
Now I hear the Queen had to ask Obama to move his bullet proof limo as it was blocking the entrance of Buckingham Palace and the Brits are not very happy with the two handed hand shakes from the Obamas. Clueless!

As well as her clothes don’t fit; she wears the wrong colors. If she were in the right fit and colors for her; you would see her; not her flaws and the awful clothes.

What and miss out on all of the fun? Mike, Mrs. O is being foisted upon us in the same manner that her husband, Barry Soetaro was. The press is building her up as a fashion goddess; the new Jackie O; the style icon and zenith of the new age. But...
