I keep thinking that, as bad as the books were, maybe the Left Behind guys knew some of what they were talking about...

Everything prophesied in Revelation is happening so fast. Years ago, no one would have believed it.

Funny. Wasn’t Jay Ropckefeller one of the ones bleating the loudest about “domestic surveilance not too long ago? I wonder what’s changed.

I seem to remember that the Rockefeller name keeps coming up in New World Order stories...

The democrats have made it clear that they are all powerful and that they are going to do any damn thing that they want. period. Frankly, I am not so sure that hey are not taking steps to confound the potential rebellion that they must know is building. Removing or controlling the ability of your enemy to communicate, is an effective military tactic. They want absolute control and power over the American people in place, before we resist.... We may not like it, but it might be good planning on their part.

Usually, when enough people get upset with how things are going, the government in power is helpless to stop them. Think about Gandhi and the British, Tutu and Botha, The Iron Curtain, the American Civil Rights movement, The Shah of Iran, etc. When the people rise up, a few get shot and then the government gets replaced. But, going to war with the United States military is a fools game. Didn't work for Jeff Davis and it won't work now. If the South had used passive resistance, it would be a free country today. Just shut down the roads, blockade government buildings and enjoy the mass assemblies that choke the beast into submission.

New slogan: 'What have YOU done to choke the beast today?"

Yeah, these fricking Dems are disgusting. All that bloviating over Bush's so-called invasion of privacy, that was all just projection. We gotta fight this tooth and nail, or communicate via Morse code.

Good luck with the open source code I have already distributed. It’s neutral tech so no one can say I root for a political party. And no it’s not a virus, it’s a virtual printing press. To shut down the press, gov would have to kill Internet Protocol which would shut down 40% of all telecommunications in the country. If it does that, citizens would have probably started armed resistance. If the U.S. government is now England once again in it’s disgusting, mercentilism then it will not get the cooperation of it’s citizens and as April said, the population could easily choke off travel, cut communications, electricity making D.C. a ghost town. I doubt the government will attempt this but the way we are cozying up to the East I suppose anything is possible.

‘I’ll make my own. Heck, if Algore can invent it, I sure could re-invent it. :)’

Yeah, I met VP Gore. Likeable guy despite his BS. What you would do is tie wireless routers to a bunch of helium baloons, use Direct T.V. satelite receivers. It would be a poor mans Peer-to-Peer network instead of Internet Protocol (I.P.). However, it would work. Gov would also have to shut down short and medium range radio networks, good luck with that. These laws by Rockefeller would simply allow ‘net cops’ whom could shut your website down if you said the wrong thing and give you fines. Where’s Ghoebbels? Never mind, Obama will double OK for propoganda minister but don’t forget the teleprompter. He would not want to look like an *ss as he was preaching the glories of Marxism.

I was thinking of something much simpler.

Get the phone numbers of your favorite Freepers, set up a conference call, read various news articles to each other over the phone lines once a day and discuss!

Oh, cr@p. Now I’ve given Big Government the idea to outlaw our phones, LOL!

Thats why warrantless wiretaps were invented, to track subversive right wing terrorist elements.

It’s time for conservatives to step up efforts to gather like a modern-day ‘Sons of Liberty’. I’ve been saying this and they are going to attempt to censor any criticism and discussion of their policies or themselves. These people are everything they claim their opposition is. They need someone to hit back. Limbaugh and other conservative voices need to get together in an organization to protest and meet to expose these b***ards because this will not stop. The Tea Parties are a good step in the right direction. Time for conservatives to get active in that area.

I have a better idea then that. How about a virtual printing press with open code that cannot be shut down without shutting down 30% of all global communications? That link and website is my company that sponsors it and the think tank of emerging leaders is 20 with 300 collaborators. Think of 1,000 Jim Quinn’s in a year and 100,000 by year 4 (2012). Entepenuars sponsored by the business and investment class create marketing solutions to monetary problems. It works every, single, time in history.
