Excuse me; it was the NATIONAL NRCC that betrayed us in CD8. They supported Kolbe’s choice in an OPEN primary. Horrible hit pieces on both Randy and another candidate were distributed, and Randy was badly damaged by the time he won the primary.

We have new leadership in the AZ Party since then, a great Republican, Randy Pullen, who helped elect a lot of conservatives to the State legislature the past cycle.

The State Republican Party is strong.

The GOP establishment in Arizona is HAPPY Giffords won. They will do everything in their power to keep the Democrat in office, if the alternative is a conservative.

problem is where do we get 2-3 million?

Yeah, big problem. Let me ask some folks about NRA in-kind support; any chance of a 527 group to support him?

This is a district, (if I remember right) that was the 5th CD. Rino Jim, light in the loafers, Kolbe held on to for about 20 years. The biggest reason it went to a democrat was that Kolbe would not endorse the Republican candidate because he was too conservitive.

“For some reason, military personnel are not having luck in the elections right now...I can’t explain it.”

Apparently, community organizers are “in” these days.

“problem is where do we get 2-3 million?”

Need to get our favorite crowd-exciting, money-raising juggernaut, Sarah Palin to the fight!

I don’t know the party operation in Arizona, but if I was him, I’d hit as many of the local clubs down there as possible.

All things being equal, the best organization usually wins.

You know, Sandy Froman, former president of NRA is a pc in my district. I’ll have to get her together with Jesse.

Thank you.

Interesting, Of San Diego’s 5 congressmen, 3 are conservative Republicans.

This is for the benefit of lurkers. The following has been burned into the psyche of California conservatives.

When given the choice, the California Republican Party supported an Austrian national in the 2003 election .... for governor of one of the US's most influential and prosperous states!

When given the choice during the 2006 election cycle, the California Republican Party closed the gubernatorial nominating process to assure the nomination of a proven European socialist, a decision that would bring an economic powerhouse to the brink of insolvency.

and since there are more democrats in Calif. and the vast majority of new kids who register are far left, you won’t see another conservative Republican in State Office.

It is different than the days I worked for Reagan at his headquarters here for gov.

Reagan could not win today in Calif.

The Republicans do what they can here.

The general public needs to visit public schools around them.
check out the text books and what the teachers are drilling into them.

For over fifty years the public schools are breeding grounds for newly registered democrats.

Many like to blame others that way it takes the responsibility away from themselves when they haven’t worked to expose the public schools starting with elementary grades.

Do the math, more democrats, more democrat in St. and Fed gov.

The last guy to run against Giffords, Tim Bee is a flaming RINO. As majority Republican leader of the Senate he joined with the Democrats to pass their budget. Shades of Cogdill and Villines in CA, who are (were in the case of Cogdill) the so-called Republican leaders in the Senate and Assembly. That S*B Bee deserved to lose but the people of Arizona don’t deserve Giffords and her rubber stamping Zero’s communist agenda.

Marryin’ was easy.

Birthin’ a 7 foot, 250 pound Marine wasn’t all that hard. No epidural, either.

(Well, he might not ‘a been quite 7 feet, and not quite 250, but it sure felt that way ; )
