That sounds like a guestimate from the cops. At 90 seconds, that's about a shot each second. You don't need a rubberband for that rate of fire mostly with a 9mm.

Don't forget to include time for mag changes. Maybe he trimmed the return spring. My finger would be falling off after 98 pulls.

OK, they said he fired two guns in a little more than a minute. Don't forget to include time for mag changes. Maybe he trimmed the return springs? It still is a lot of pulls.

cops and their SELF-protective procedures. Forget about the victims

Why do you need a firearm to protect yourself? That's what cops are for.

It's a little trick to make a semi-auto into an auto. Basically you wrap the rubber band around the trigger and back of the trigger guard to where its almost trips the hammer. Then, when you fire the first shot, the recoil loads the next round, as usual, but the rubber band keeps the trigger from returning back to its firing position. Then, just as the slide cocks the firing pin, the rubber band pulls the trigger back again.

It's like having a hair trigger, where you only need to pull the trigger once.

Ever seen IDPA or IPSC competition? 98 shots in a minute or so doesn’t take any special mods. 2 shots a second is easy to acheive.

I never leave home with out my 45 I have been diligent for the past decade - these days I just might keep a mossberg in my trunk with a box buckshot

Yeah. I went to a full size glock prac/tac because my g30 has been feeling rather "light" recently.

That’s about a hundred bucks these days. In times past, going through that many rounds in a single range session would not be unusual.

Sarcasm is a form of irony that is bitter or cutting, being intended to taunt its target. [1] It is first recorded in English in The Shepheardes Calender in 1579: Tom piper) An Ironicall [Sarcasmus], spoken in derision of these rude wits, whych make more account of a ryming rybaud, then of skill grounded vpon learning and iudgment. —Edmund Spenser[1] It comes from the ancient Greek σαρκάζω (sarkazo) meaning 'to tear flesh' but the ancient Greek word for the rhetorical concept of taunting was instead χλευασμός (chleyasmόs). Sarcasm appears several times in the Old Testament, for example: Lo, you see the man is mad; why then have you brought him to me? Do I lack madmen, that you have brought this fellow to play the madman in my presence? —Achish, king of Gath, I Sam 21:10-15[2] Oscar Wilde, the great Irish playwright, poet and author of numerous short stories and one novel, also known for his biting wit, declared that Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Hostile, critical comments may be expressed in an ironic way such as saying "don't work too hard" to a lazy worker. The use of irony introduces an element of humour which may make the criticism seem more polite and less aggressive but understanding the subtlety of this usage requires second-order interpretation of the speaker's intentions. This sophisticated understanding is lacking in people with brain damage, dementia, autism[3] and this perception has been located by MRI in the right parahippocampal gyrus.[4] [5] In certain Ethiopic languages, sarcasm is indicated with a sarcasm mark, a character that looks like a backwards question mark at the end of a sentence, similar to Alcanter de Brahm's proposed irony mark (؟). Subtitles, such as in Teletext, sometimes use an exclamation mark in brackets to mark sarcasm: (!). SARCASM Proud owner of 4 guns......

I understand sarcasm, I am sarcastic. Since I don’t know you, I don’t know when you are being sarcastic.

That is why we use a /sarc tag around here.

We need more guns that carry magazines. Reloading is such a chore.

I see. Excellent.

May you have plenty of fun shooting without the need to reload for a long time then. =)
