(April 6) - Text of letter sent to Syracuse, N.Y., TV station News 10 Now from a man identifying himself as Jiverly Wong, the gunman who killed 13 people, then himself, at the American Civic Association in Binghamton. The letter was handwritten in all capital letters on two sheets of paper. It was postmarked Friday, April 3, the day of the shootings.

This guy wrote like he was a threat to himself or others with no good reason. Folks need to be able to recognize it. Who wants genuine nuts with guns?

He’s lived in the U.S. for at least 18 years (earliest date in the letter is 1990) and that’s his level of English composition? Unbelievable. I can barely make out even one sentence of that mess.

Overall, though, I'm reminded of Chris Rock commenting on the attempts to explain the motives of the Columbine killers: "Whatever happened to CRAZY?!"
