TEHRAN, Iran Iran now controls the entire cycle for producing nuclear fuel, the Iranian president said Saturday, highlighting his country's growing capabilities at a time when the U.S. wants to negotiate with Iran over its nuclear program.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's comments came two days after the inauguration of a facility which produces uranium oxide fuel pellets for a planned heavy-water reactor the final step in the long, sophisticated nuclear fuel cycle.
"Today, with the grace of God, Iran is a country controlling the entire nuclear fuel cycle," Ahmadinejad said on state television Saturday.

WWOD?
Don't focus on the missile technology, it's for peaceful purposes for crying out loud.
Thanks be to God almighty. /SARCASM
“We’re not talking about Iran right now...we’re talking about um, education!”
Islam's god is Satan, who is incapable of offering "grace". When and if God decides to allow a nuke hit, it will happen and only then. Given Satan's nature we know he'd be blowing us all up now if he could. Why doesn't he? BECAUSE HE CANNOT. God has him on a chain!
Where’s Gibbs to tell us they’re busy “monitoring the situation”?
(btw, great screen name!)
Thanks.
You know, someone ought to ask why nations like Iran, who is surrounded by oil and has sun out the wazoo, feels SO compelled to acquire nuclear “energy”...and we aren’t doing much about nuclear energy here in the states.
Obama needs to lecture Iran about how ungreen they are being.
I can't comment on worldwide thermonuclear annihilation right now... we were discussing global warming here.
So the fact that they have a heavy-water reactor, which is fueled with UNENRICHED uranium, combined with the fact that they have thousands of costly and complex gas centrifuges working to produce ENRICHED uranium, leads one to the obvious conclusion of what they intend to do with the ENRICHED uranium, and it sure as hell doesn’t involve generating electricity.
And if O did exactly that, the SCOTUS would throw out any litigation challenging him!
The fact that your statement can legitimately be thought of as a joke of sorts is indicative of how pathetic this administration is.
