Retinal Coordination: Picture Perfect Presentation of Design

by Brian Thomas, M.S.*

Evidence abounds that vertebrate eyes cannot be the result of chance formation. Recently, scientists found even more evidence when they discovered that retinal neurons work together to provide the brain with a finely-tuned visual picture...

False claims? Please do explain- Please also enlighten us all here as to how evolution could construct the eye- We’re always interested in a good yarn

Oh, I see. But when the Evos say that a super-sophisticated bio-nano-machine that gives the “appearance” of being designed is an illusion, and is really just the product of random processes and differential survival, you consider that the correct conclusion, right?

And from the ICR’s Islamic wing, Harun Yahya offers this:

Yahya may get many of his ideas from Christian creationists, but he is not a Christian creationist. So why pretend that Yahya’s outfit is part of ICR?

Having said that, I just read through your link, and was struck by how much more difficult it would be for a would-be terrorist to kill another human being after learning just how fearfully and wonderfully God has made each one us. No wonder Muslim creationists denounce the senseless slaughter of Islamist terror so forcefully! No wonder they think only amoral revolutionary materialists could be capable of such things!

It is true that the eye—the human eye particularly—is built upside down and backwards, presumably from design but apparently not in this case, resulting in the debate.
There is a simple explanation for this.
Certain parts of the human anatomy were `contracted-out’, including the eye: for example, the gills and fine covering of fur that we have while floating in our mommies’ tummies, as well as the appendix, gall bladder, vestigial tail and other unneeded things, were tacked-on by a committee of Angels.
They had been helping make animals. Earlier that day they misunderstood the specifications in a work order entitled “horse” and produced a camel.
So there it is.

No wonder Muslim creationists denounce the senseless slaughter of Islamist terror so forcefully!

You've staked out this position repeatedly, but have never offered the slightest evidence to support it. Perhaps you should.

I know! Can you believe these materialists. They actually believe that super sophisticated bio-nano-machines are not what they appear to be. According to the Temple of Darwinistic Materialism, these super-sophisticated bio-nano-machines are but an illusion that only give the “appearance” of design. They actually believe (and will say with a straight face) that these super-sophisticated designs are the product of RANDOM processes and differential survival! Fools indeed!!!

Like I said, you will find some wacky ideas here and there, but there is no question that Islamic creationists A) denounce terrorism and B) think the only people capable of such evil are revolutionary materialists (which they believe are inspired by Satan, interestingly enough):

So you stake out the same position as Harun Yahya, and as factual support for that position you cite — Harun Yahya. Something kind of fishy about all this.

Here is your original question: “You’ve staked out this position repeatedly, but have never offered the slightest evidence to support it. Perhaps you should.”

I pointed to Yahya’s website as PRIMARY evidence of creationist Muslims denouncing terrorism. What is it with you Evos? Do you secretly want all Muslims to live up to your caricature of Islamist terror?

BTW, I tried to use the blockquote function on your handy-dandy machine to wrap around a picture the other day, and it wouldn’t work. Any ideas on what I could have been doing wrong???

I pointed to Yahya’s website as PRIMARY evidence of creationist Muslims denouncing terrorism.

As far as I know, you and Sheikh Adnan Oktar (a/k/a Harun Yahya) are the only ones claiming that "Muslim creationists denounce terrorism."

And when asked to provide factual support for this claim, you circle right around and point to Sheikh Adnan Oktar, the same Islamic fundamentalist operating the BAV in Turkey, the same Islamic fundamentalist who published a book called the "The Holocaust Deception," and the same Islamic fundamentalist who claims that "all terrorists are Darwinists."

In short, you have no factual support other than the crazy Sheikh his own self. Have you even bothered to ask yourself whether this crazy Islamic fundamentalist has some ulterior motive for making such a claim?
