The state House of Representatives passed the gay marriage bill late Wednesday night - codifying the State Supreme Court's controversial decision that legalized gay marriage in Connecticut. The House voted, 100 to 44, several hours after the state Senate had voted, 28 to 7, to approve the codification. Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell says she will sign the bill into law. The bill was supported on the House and Senate floors by the two co-chairmen of the legislature's judiciary committee - Rep. Michael P. Lawlor of East Haven in the House and Sen. Andrew McDonald of Stamford in the Senate.
I’m for it , the south, midwest and AK should say to the north east see ya.
we then can get rid of all liberals, homosexuals and illegals out of our country and send them to their liberal hell hole
Yes, thanks for reminder.
Sometimes my faith is all I have. But it’s enough.
lets face It the north east is gone, totally gone, next will be NH,ME and they are still trying to get it in NY where the court said no last time
anything north of VA has gone really.,sad as it is the homosexuals moved into those areas, get kids to brainwash and then infiltrate churches by pretending to be normal
it is only till they have developed a friendship with some in the church they then tell them they are queer, that they just love each other, they are just want to be left alone etc
Course those in the church buy it as they seemed normal for the last few months. They then tell others that they have no problem with homosexuals as they know one.
How many times have you heard , well I know a homo and they are nice they just love their partner
maybe next time they should go to their freak parades and see how these homos really act
next stop will be homo adoption, teaching of homosexuality iN schools.
They have this sham marriage by the senate but it does not mean they are married.
in my eyes and many others including my kids marriage is between a man and a woman
Here in my state the liberal legislature passed civil unions last week because we have a DOMA. However, there is already talk of this being a “first step” and next year they will find a way to institute homo marriage. And, I have no doubt that they will.
Money talks.
We are witnessing the perfect storm.
Decades of Fabian socialism coming to a head.
Combined with decades of destroying America from within (Gramci’s plan).
Combined with foreign forces gathering their strength and enmity against us.
Combined with a communist in the White House as an “enabler” of all these gathering forces to destroy us once and for all. Stock up on precious metal (gold, silver, lead), seeds, water, food. Try to have an alternative spot of land way the hell away from all populated areas to move to, and learn to raise your own food. If this country is to survive, it will be saved by those who are independent and who have a functioning network amongst themselves and who adhere to traditional American values.
What he said.
The problem with relying on that is depending on how the USSC views this type of legislation. If the USSC views this as a fundamental civil right, ALL states will be forced to recognize the gay marriages performed in other states.
The blather continues that “the sky hasn’t fallen in Massachusetts.” Indeed. It’s worse than that.
This used to be the mindset of those considered "fringe survivalists" but is now becoming the prudent response - unbelievably! But this strategy will still be thwarted, as the Marxists will attempt to confiscate at gunpoint even the most remote resources in this country when the festering inner cities are completely ravaged of any source of sustenance by the democratic animals.
I'd say, rather, stock up on ammo and those tools that project it accurately.
Actually, northern VA is gone as well .... a big reason why we have a Dem Governor & carpetbagger Terry McAuliffe thinks he can be the next one. Pretty disgusting.
Agreed, and the rest of VA, too. There are a lot of rural Virginians who still vote against Abraham Lincoln every chance they get. When NoVA was conservative, they didn't matter. But now...
I fled Maryland 12 years ago to try to find a sane place to live that was still within a short drive of family. But I fear the family may soon be seeing a lot less of me.
“Another excellent example of the total uselessness of a RINO governor”
As far gone as CT seems to be, is there truly hope for anything BUT a RINO there?
“Agreed, and the rest of VA, too.”
I fear you’re right. I want to believe McDonnell has a realistic chance to win the gubernatorial election this year, but I can’t help believing the election will be decided in the dem primary. The dems have their tentacles on VA and aren’t letting go.
(That was the third precious metal I listed.)
Federal troops may try (and fail) to crush the rebellion.
At least we got the Marriage amendment in '06. But I suspect that was the last gasp of the conservatives in VA. (Incidentally, it was also the time we got invited to anything in our affluent NoVA neighborhood. The pro-marriage yard sign pretty much did us in socially.)
What’s more, it’s is 50 years of socialist sexual revolution overthrowing thousand years of established global culture.
