From what I gather, it’s like a moot or mock court. Groups organize a mock grand jury, review “evidence,” and decide whether to indict Obama for lying about being a US citizen. Apparently, a “grand jury” that met in Ohio decided to “indict.”

Article V doesn't specify the 'type' of grand jury, or who or how it 'must' be convened.

If one does a search on the history of grand jury's, you'll see that the government (i.e. prosecutors) have essentially grabbed the power and control of grand jury's.

If you'll read what these folks are saying, you'll realize that what they are doing is giving 'officers of the court' their 'presentments' in the hope that the will take it to the next step and convene a (prosecutorial) grand jury and/or court order discovery into their allegations found in their presentment.

Sorry for the double post, I got so excited I posted twice..LOL..To be honest, I'm not sure about Common Law Grand Juries and exactly what their power to indict are and if the indictment is legal and binding.

FYI Stockbridge is the poster child for abusive eminiant domain.

This site also makes it sound like they asked for volunteers already predisposed against Obama to serve on a fake grand jury.

A “peoples grand jury” is an exercise in masturbation. Might make the participant feel good temporarily, but isn’t really a substitute for the real thing.

Think back on the tribunals in the US, Sweden, etc of similar “peoples courts” smugly passing judgment on Bush, Reagan, et al. Accomplish anything? Bertrand Russel didn’t even get a Nobel Peace Prize for the one he chaired. (Sweden wasn’t it?) That certainly had to be a disappointment.

As Obama opposition this is worse then nothing. It just puts the stamp of kooks us all.
