Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) told a gathering of pro-abortion activists that the Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations put in place by the Bush administration to protect medical professionals who work in institutions that receive federal funding and morally oppose certain practices, such as abortion, is “short-sighted” and should be rescinded by President Obama.

It’s “short-sighted” to eliminate from the medical profession anyone who doesn’t march in lockstep with the culture of death party line?
I don’t believe that government funds should be used to promote anything any where outside of the United States, let alone anything that is opposed by so many US Citizens.

You know what? Skip the federal money, let the people who want to kill babies try and come up with an answer. They won’t find it, and if they think they do, it’ll turn out to be wrong (ie stem cells causing secondary cancers in people).
Get pro-life private investors to back these places. Yes that means no easy money from Uncle Sugar, but that’s the price. I get zero from government. They want to put all these strings on it, tell them to take a flying leap.

So this Senator, elected by the people, believes the Federal Government has the right to force a Medical Doctor who has sworn an oath to do no harm,to kill babies?

When these medical professionals switch careers, or leave the US to work in medicine in another country; then we will see who was "short-sighted".

I see a future where a lot of OBGYN’s retire. There is already a shortage, soon pregnant woman will have no one to deliever their babies because of trying to force doctor’s to do what they morally object to.
Sen. Patty Murray, the only “short sightedness” here is your attempt to trample on someones moral convictions and religious rights to not kill a fellow human being.
