A quick tour of the internet shows that the England has NO PROBLEM WITH ALLOWING U.S. RAP/HIP HOP PERFORMERS enter UK territory for concerts, business deals, etc. despite their filthy lyrics including extremely racist and sexist as well as lewd and violence-inciting comments.

Are they on "the list"?

These are not barred at the UK's borders, and yet U.S. conservative talk show hosts who do not swear or use such vulgarities, nor incite violence, are banned. What gives?

I only posted the relatively "tame" lyrics this guy puts out.

I ran through it. A LOT of violence (potentially inciteful to violence) and vulgarity not to mention clearly racist terminology. I could not dare post them here on FR due to the rules. Everyone can imagine.

And yet he and his entourage, with criminal records, are allowed into the UK as most recently as December (and there are others). I think this fact should be an abject embarrassment to the British Government.

I think these rappers are an embararssment to Americans too, but it’s a free country, at least for some.

Politicians, in the UK as well as America, don’t particulary mind speech about racism, abusing women or killing cops; notice the only speech they attack is when it’s about them. And the more truthful the criticism gets, the more they react to it. What they really want to regulate is political speech, which our courts once valued above all forms of speech.

This FR thread should be sent to an enterprising, honest (probably center-of-right) British journalist in London with one of the dailies or tabs. I will try to think of someone here on the quick. It is late in the day there, but maybe it would reach their deadline for tomorrow’s news in London. This could really prove to be an embarrassment. How can they justify Savage on the “halt” list, and let this kind of riff-raff in, who pose the very threat to the UK that they accuse Savage of representing. I dont even know of Savage having a rap sheet, but man, you ought to see that hip-hopper’s run-ins with the law in the USA.
