In a press briefing, Hse. Spkr. Pelosi (D-CA) said that in 2002 the CIA "misled" her about toture techniques used by the U.S. military. Spkr. Pelosi remarked that she later learned of the military's use of waterboarding in 2003. Recently, Republicans have stated that she and other Democrats were briefed that waterboarding was in use, but did nothing to prevent it.

You forgot to mention ‘Bush’ 20 times like she does every day on TV. She never says ‘conservatives’ , she says ‘Bush, Bush, Bush,..’
We know it’s nearing the end for Nancy when she say, “I am not a crook.”
About the letter...she misrepresents the contents of the letter ...

Pelosi's reflexive defense that "I've been against torture my entire life" actually hurts her case, because it further raises the questions about where her objections were. Even if you grant her interpretation that in the 2002 briefing, she was only told that waterboarding was a possibility, not that it was being used, one would think that someone who so strongly objected to the concept would have registered objections at that time. Then there's the 2003 briefing, in which her aide was told that it was being used. Again, one would think that Pelosi would have been registering her objections and doing what she could to argue against the practice. But there's no record of it; Pelosi's defense is essentially, "I let Jane Harman do it."

On Sept. 4, 2002, less than a year after 9/11, the CIA briefed Rep. Porter Goss, then House Intelligence Committee chairman, and Mrs. Pelosi, then the committee’s ranking Democrat, on EITs including water boarding. They were the first members of Congress to be informed.
So, who was the director of the CIA, from 9/11 to 2004?
George J. Tenet was the Director of CIA, from 1997–2004 .
Tenet was appointed by President Clinton and approved by Congress. Tenet then became the CIA director in August of 1997.
So, Pelosi is now saying that George Tenet lied to her or ordered his congressional briefers to lie to Nancy.
I love Pelosi’s lies. Especially this recent batch. Gives America the real essence of looney left politics.
Honestly sadly she is the best thing we having going now.
