Is Anchorage in range?
Good grief!
great list... thanks!
You betcha. I happen to live in Anchorage, AK, so I'm not exactly a big fan of Obama's wanting to shut down the missile defense system. I bet if North Korea was located in Greenland, Obama would be much more supportive of a ground-based missile defense system...
Wait for it....wait for it.....ahhhhhhhh, the “concerned” Palin supporters. Shall we usher them in and hear their lists of grisel and drivel? Ohhhhhhh lets do :)
And the list of “concerns” are:
1. Maybe she should resign her post and concentrate on 2012
2. She’ll never be ready for prime time
3. She is damaged goods
4. Stay in Alaska and serve only there
5. She’ll scare away the “moderates” and Latinos
6. She’s not “cosmopolitan” enough
7. Barry is too strong and besides, the MSM will eat her alive.
Yadda, yadda, yadda and pass me the barf bag.
I’d just wish some of the “concerned” (who’re probably secret plants from KOS, Mitty or Huckster supporters) would just either go someplace else or grow a fricken spin.
Sorry, had to rant and get it off my chest.
The barracud arises again.
Wher eis that old Heart record?
You have got to be kidding me - glad solidwood informed you
IfI were President,I would announce the assemblage of a joint military exercise with the SouthKoreans including the enire 82nd Airborne, an armored division or two and a pre-positioning of heavy air force units.
The little punk would throttle back pretty quickly.
I agree. Palin critics are nothing but irritating little maggots.
“Its offical, she is running for President of the United States.”
Can’t wait ‘til it’s officially official to support her.
I agree with you, I am fed up with the politicians and don’t believe any of them. As to what we can do about Korea- if China is the only one that can influence them- who do we have talking to the Chinese besides Pelosi? I know her function was to talk to them about the global warming issue- I hope she is not representing our interests in this Korea issue. That is a real scary thought to me- I don’t see her doing anything but making it worse all the way around if she opened her mouth on this with the Chinese.
Careful there- I often tell my hubby he is not 30 any more but the Vietnam Veterans I know don’t like to be reminded of that. (:
All kidding aside my hubby totally supports Sarah, and so do his buddys so I don’t think it is a generational thing. I think she appeals to a far bigger group than anyone imagines. Remember people were pretty tepid about McCain, but Sarah didn’t have a problem gathering enthusiastic crowds.
My answers to the concerned people:
1. Not necessary- very few do that and no one says anything. I think this is her choice.
2. Disagree, she can get more prepared, and not being ready for prime time hasn’t stopped many others from trying and making it work.
3. Damaged? Not to me or anyone I know. The left and the media does attack her relentlessly- just shows that they are afraid of her. Do we really want a candidate the media and the left approves of and doesn’t attack?
4. Why? If she is willing and has the support why should she “just stay out of it” to please someone else? That is a choice for her and her supporters to make.
5. Oh that is really funny- oh yes I do remember all the moderates and Latinos that voted for McCain in overwhelming numbers to put him over the top- oh wait that didn’t happen did it? I think the only way to reach moderates and Latinos is with support of smaller government, taxes, and more overall fiscal responsiblity the way Reagan gained their support and Bush lost it- They wouldn’t be moderates if they were firm either way on other core issues like say abortion, 2nd Amendment, etc.
6. Thank the Lord she’s not. Don’t we have the ultimate “cosmopolitan” bunch now?
7. Barry may remain strong among those that elected him to begin with- they already proved to me how stupid they are so I wouldn’t doubt they may continue to adore him. I do think it would be a major mistake to underestimate Obama in any event. Sarah needs her chance to show how she can take him on- the voters are the only judge of this that counts no matter who is running. If the Republicans run anyone that the MSM doesn’t try to eat alive that alone would scare me away from that candidate.
I am not a Sarah-bot, I like her- but I don’t agree with her on all the issues. I don’t know yet which people will be running in 2012 and some of the possibles I don’t know as much about as I want to. I’m not ready to say I will definately support Sarah, but I don’t want to discourage her from running because I am convinced she is a viable candidate. She is far more conservative than many recent Republican candidates so I don’t think we should throw her under the bus- let her run, she may be the one we need- or at least our best option. If we are too ruthless with possible conservative candidates we will likely end up with another “moderate” candidate that is really a liberal at heart. As I see it we have an uphill battle to begin with since the party leaders and so-called experts think we need a moderate candidate, lets not shoot ourselves in the foot by eliminating people we may live to regret it.
You tell em SW!!!!!She will be the Next President!!!!! My 2 cents...
“Then she should have spoken up for missile defense instead of making a silly statement about taking a firm stand. That is completely meaningless.”
She did make a stand for missle defense.
“Yeah, but she cant hold a candle to our current VP; hes so much more articulate and intelligent than her~ remember?”
Uh, uh. Did you forget that Cheney is no longer our VP?, Or did you forget your “/sarcasm” tag?
Don’t tell that to Palin’s supporters, they are knee deep in their awe of her. All conservatives voters believe that a firm stand should be taken - that’s a given. Too bad that Obama had to select Hillary to be doing a job that she has no idea how to do it. And that’s the problem. We are living in a really dangerous world and people making platitude statements about stands ain’t going to get the job done! The problem is we are in a big pickle, just by electing Obama it is very possible, that it doesn’t matter what we do or what “stands” we take, we are screwed, from the get-go!
that about sums it up.
I hate to use sarcasm tags. They take all the bite out of a good joke.
Obviously I know who our current VP is and that was said in jest.
