July 7, Kansas: Scott Roeder is sentenced to sixteen months in state prison for parole violations following a 1996 conviction for having bomb components in his car trunk. Roeder, a sovereign citizen and tax protester, violated his parole by not filing tax returns or providing his social security number to his employer.
It is to be hoped that the yearly income of Dr Tiller be mentioned. Again, I wish he had not died in this way.
The absolute iconic figure in Canada is one Dr Morgantaler. Now Morgantaler is awaiting the dread call to Jehovah. He is 85 years of age and a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp. It was his case that broke the back of the anti-abortion movement in Canada. He has performed well over fifty thousand such operations. His income?
In 2003 his income was estimated at 11 million yearly. He was sued by the revenue people at one time for not paying $354,000 in taxes. He settled for $110,000.

When Obama was elected last fall, Hern predicted that anti-abortion violence would increase, he said. Because Obama supports legalized abortion, Hern said, its foes “have lost ground.... They want the doctors dead, and they invite people to assassinate us. No wonder that this happens.
“I am next on the list.”

Say how absolutely monstrous the man was, but then say how appalled we are at the murder. constantly repeat words like infanticide (calmly), quoting Daniel Patrick Moynihan's famous statement, but then always denounce violence.

Regarding Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ criticism of Sen. John McCain’s process of choosing a running mate, I would have to agree with the Kansas GOP executive director. I think Democrats should stop whining and concern themselves with the decision making of their own party.
If they had vetted Sen. Barack Obama and looked into his background as closely as that of Gov. Sarah Palin, Sen. Hillary Clinton might have been their nominee.
But the Democrats had superdelegates, the elites who could negate the millions of average citizens’ votes in primaries, and Sebelius was a superdelegate. I can only guess that the elites are smarter and wiser than the average person in the Democratic Party. Why else would the Democrats create this system?
And thank God she told us Obama is black. Now that my governor has cleared that up, maybe now even a Republican living in Kansas, where the wine is not as good as it is on the left coast, may be able to make an informed decision — unless the governor has more top-secret information she would like to give us .We all know the Democrats have no problem in releasing top-secret information.
