July 7, Kansas: Scott Roeder is sentenced to sixteen months in state prison for parole violations following a 1996 conviction for having bomb components in his car trunk. Roeder, a sovereign citizen and tax protester, violated his parole by not filing tax returns or providing his social security number to his employer.

“Yehweh” is a spelling associated with The Vineyard church, as best I can tell, and not a typo or misspelling.

This Tiller dude was an arrogant baby killer, but this murder was the work of an unstable person and he should be brought to justice for his crime. Period..end of story imho.

I’ve known several people who attend, and have been encouraged to try it out, but never did. Draws a somewhat younger crowd, very devout, many singles, many fairly educated. Does not discourage people who might appear somewhat unusual to other, more staid congregations. All are welcome who genuinely believe. Charismatic evangelical.

My friend from Wichita just told me that a trial recently ended, and Tiller was acquitted. Might have stirred people up. She said that Roeder comes from Marion, KS, which has a large population of Mennonites. She nor I have any idea if he is or is not of that persuasion.
