It’s already in Williamson county. This is an Austin ordinance, not a county one. And parts of Austin are in your county.
This is an energy audit for energy efficiency only. They couldn’t care less about termite damage, mold, etc. At least not yet...
Where were you? The Montrose District in Houston? I have never heard of a separate bathroom for perverts.
Oh, geez..Austin is Texas.though it counds like Californis.
What county is that?
LOL! Naive???
While you "hope" for whatever, as you so ironically point out, "The leftists are working furiously..."
Why do conservatives retreat while the Left "works furiously"???
Why aren't conservatives working furiously?
No - the ordinance does not require anything need be fixed, you just have to get the audit.
I'd like a sticker..."Keep Austin..in Austin"
Y’all need to move some conservatives to Austin!
I reside in Austin and deal with these kooks hourly.
I refuse to buy a house in Travis county.
I like the sticker idea. Austin is in Williamson county in the area around 183 and the Spicewood Springs/McNeil exit.
Curious as to why you say that. I can't wait to get my house built in the county so I can move out of Austin.
Have you seen the Flugerville stickers?
Flugerville - between a Rock and a weird place
I have seen those - funny.
The only reason I knew it is ‘cause I live about 3 blocks from being in Williamson. At least it’s RRISD - thank God for small favors.
When they were discussing this on KLBJ several weeks ago, some Austin city official said they wanted some of the repairs to be made before the sale. I don’t know if that was before or after the final version of the ordinance.
I worry about future annexation.....
Dallas, Convention Center - was a few years ago as well.
Kendall County and thanks to all that responded, I appreciate it. Be aware and alert but being on constant alert will wear one down and that’s what they count on.
Oh yes, the “fee” is negligible, but have you ever seen a “fee” or TAX rescended or not raised??
I always thought that Berkeley, California (where I was born) was a thoroughly crazy place, but Austin has them beat by a long ways!
In all fairness making your home environmentally friendly adds value in Austin. It shouldn’t be mandatory, of course.
They might try to do that in the future, but for now, it’s for disclosure purposes only.
And you can avoid having to do it by participating in the Austin Energy Free Weatherization Program! Wheee!!!
