Slain Kansas abortion provider's clinic to close

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - The family of slain abortion provider George Tiller said Tuesday that his Wichita clinic will be "permanently closed," effective immediately.

In a statement released by Tiller's attorneys, his family said it is ceasing operation of Women's Health Care Services Inc. and any involvement by family members in any other similar clinic.

"We are proud of the service and courage shown by our husband and father and know that women's health care needs have been met because of his dedication and service," the family said.

Tiller was shot to death May 31 while serving as an usher at the Lutheran church in Wichita that he regularly attended. Scott Roeder is being held on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault in Tiller's death.

Tiller's family said it will honor his memory through private charitable activities.

Family members said they wanted to assure Tiller's previous patients that the privacy of their medical histories and patient records will remain "as fiercely protected now and in the future" as they were during Tiller's lifetime.

Carhart, the abortion doctor who traveled from NE to Tiller’s clinic weekly to perform 3rd trimester abortions, was begging the Tiller family to keep it open so he could “continue his mission.” Apparently, they don’t let “doctors” ignore the law and kill babies in the 3rd trimesters in NE so he had to come to KS to do it.

Maybe a church group can gather up the money and buy the building and turn it into a pro-life adoption agency or group to help pregnant woman.

I'm not sure if the announcement is a ploy to get funding help, or if the family is not as fervent in their desire to kill babies as their zealot father was. I could see how an announcement like this might get Abortion lovers to open up their purses to fund a new Abortuary.

Why, I wonder, are pro-abortion groups so deferential to the late abortionist Tiller and his family? Did they mourn Saddam Hussein and his hideous behavior? Did they wring their hands over the welfare of Hitler, or Mussolini, or the perpetrators of the Bataan Death March? My understanding is that Tiller killed 60,000 unborn and just born humans. Why would good people not be glad that horror has come to an end?

LOL this is why liberals always kiss the muslims’ butts - because if you get muslims angry you will die, period.

Liberals have been walking all over Christians and Conservatives for decades because we always politely disagree and quietly “request” that they stop their hideously evil practices.

Proud-Proud unbelievable.I stop by an abortion chamber yesterday.Just a quick stop to say hello to an old friend.He was there for the girls that go in for counciling 3 days before the abortion.Many black American girls going in.I saw 3 while I was there for 10 minutes.He told he was bad and had gone to the door so they called the cops.That's my Howard.They were just pulling up and I asked if they were Federal and he said no.He waved to them and they waved back.We all know each other after all these years.That hell hole does not do late term abortions.They prepare the women a few days ahead of time and they have them done at the hospital.I was there when a late term was saved.I was there when a priest jumped over the yellow line because an ambulance was called because a girl was bleeding to death.Father wanted to bless her .They arrested him.One of the cops did Adoration.My husband told him off.I could go on but how in the world could they be proud of this ungodly work.
