Two radical Muslims identified on crashed Air France flight

DEBKAfile Special Repor

June 10, 2009, 9:40 PM (GMT+02:00)

The day after DEBKAfile's counter-terror sources' revelation of Tuesday, June 9, that French security was going through the doomed Air France flight's passenger list for suspected terror links, the Paris weekly L'Express reported a link had been found.

French security DGSE (Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure) agents dispatched to Brazil identified two names on the passenger list which also appear also on highly-classified documents listing radical Muslims considered a threat to France. This link to the air tragedy was described as "highly significant."

The French agents also examined the security measures employed at Rio de Janeiro international port from which Air France A300 took off May 31 with 228 passengers and crew, never to arrive at its destination at Charles de Gaulle, Paris.

DEBKAfile's counter-terror sources report that in the last few months Paris has received several threats of an impending al Qaeda mega-attack against a French city on the lines of the hijacked airliners which struck New York and Washington on September 11, 2001. The jihadis were bent on punishing president Nicolas Sarkozy for posting fresh French troops to Afghanistan.

Should further investigations connect the two Muslim passengers to this conspiracy, it would go far to indicate that the Air France flight was destined to crash over Paris - except that the plan misfired and the plane came down sooner than planned over the Atlantic.

According to our sources, the French flight crews warned of the plot might have succeeded into pre-empting it by an extraordinary act of bravery to crash the plane in the ocean before it reached France.

Alternatively, the two purported terrorists may have been on a suicide operation like the Egyptian Airline pilot who brought his Boeing 767 into the Atlantic off the US coast on March 31, 1999.

It is entirely possible the pilots of the French plane were already dead with their throats cut, and terrorists taking over lost the plane. The first thing they do, as we have all leared, is take over the flight deck. This could explain NO REPORT or call of any kind from the A130’s pilots.

So...the good Muslims of the world are going to keep quiet and make me deal with the Muslim terrorists. Fine...they'll have to suffer with my way of dealing with it. And that is, THEY'RE ALL GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT!!

Lots of interesting speculation out there, but I think the odds that TWA Flight 800 was a terrorist attack using a surface-to-air missile are extremely remote.

It just doesn’t make sense that terrorists would take over a transatlantic flight so early into the flight. A bomb is certainly a possibility, but hijacking seems unlikely.

Unless the target wasn't in France at all.

How about the idea found on this forum several years ago?
2 flights to every destination
flight 1 no profiling
flight 2 profiling of anyone from middle-eastern countries sponsors of terrorism, or belonging to a cult that promotes violent actions against Christians and Jews.

all the jihadis and their lovers the liberals go on flight 1.
all the normal people on flight 2.

problem solved

Now’s a fine time to be going over a watch list.—of course 0 will get rid of any watch lists that have muslim terrorists on it and only concern himself with pro life Christians and, of course, the feared and dreaded “teabaggers”.

First the Syrian musicians and now the Moroccan veterinarians?

Three Moroccan nationals were identified among the plane’s passengers namely two veterinary surgeons, Fouad Haddour and Rajae Tazi Moukha, and a veterinary technician, Ahmed Faouzi.

You need to reread the article about the two Muslims that are being discussed. Funny how people that are new sign-ups recently tend not to read the articles before trying to guide the discussion where they want it to go and away from facts.

This is preposterous. Not the possibility that there might have been terrorists aboard the flight. But it’s beyond outlandish to suggest that one could jump from that information, to the idea that the plan was to crash the plane into Paris, and that somehow the flight crew got wind of this and crashed the plane into the middle of the ocean instead, at a point when they still had HOURS to try to alert authorities and find a better solution. And then they didn’t even manage to send out a brief message — “had to ditch, terrorists on board” — even though they had still had enough control of the cockpit to deliberately drop the plane into the ocean.

Unlikely, but certainly more plausible than the outlandish scenario described in the Debka piece.

I've heard the oft-repeated maxim that 95% of Muslims are peace loving, gentle people who mean the rest of the world no harm. But, if the estimate of 1 billion Muslims in the world is somewhat correct, the 5% of those Muslims who are radical comes out to be around 50 MILLION people.

50,000,000 radical Muslims is a pretty significant number of people trying to wreak havoc in the world.
