LOS ANGELES — Hundreds celebrated in the streets outside Staples Center after the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA title win Sunday night, with some revelers damaging police cruisers, throwing rocks and bottles at officers and setting bonfires in the street, authorities said.
About 25 people were arrested, most part of a rowdy crowd that split off on to surrounding streets after police declared the gathering an unlawful assembly, officer Karen Rayner said.
Several police cruisers were damaged and reinforcement officers were called in from throughout the city to help disperse the crowd, Rayner said.

The thought that a hoodlum ne’er-do-well can vote, and thus cancel out my vote, makes me want to riot.
They (the urban yoots) damned near burned Detroit to the ground several years ago when they won the title.
I doubt there were any soccer moms, Amish, or Mennonites in the crowd that was arrested. Probably, nobody that had a real job either.

You nailed it. The govt and media has more of a problem with peaceful tea parties than they do with riots.
Strange, Tampa Bay teams have won the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup and last year the Rays won the ALCS, yet not a single riot. Are we missing something here, what do we need to do to get in on this ‘spread the wealth’ action?

Underclass? I bet you they’re all or almost all middle class. That’s what scares me most. Much of the class I came from has become “urbanized”. They think nothing of riots, drunkeness, etc. Low class behavior is now something to aspire to.

That the left thinks the raunchy disgusting lyrics of much of Hip-Hop is an ‘art form’ tells you all you need to know about their ability to admit to themselves what the problem really is.
Expected the same in Detroit a few nights ago, but I guess a different demographic follows hockey.
