CBS News reporter Mark Knoller issued a sharp retort to people on Twitter responding with derision to critics of Barack Obama's decision to go out for ice cream today while Iran is in the midst of a citizens revolt:
"Surprised by the outrage at the ice cream outing. What is it you expect or want the US to do about Iran? Attack? War?"
Knoller's liberal defense of Obama is not surprising. Four years ago he was Cindy Sheehan's head cheerleader when she arrived in Crawford, Texas to launch a protest against President Bush and the was in Iraq. Knoller failed to report that Sheehan was a supporter of the terrorists in Iraq who described them as "freedom fighters" to Knoller in an exclusive interview she gave him.
One could envision the drool hanging from Knoller's crusty beard as the portly liberal reporter Twittered about Obama's ice cream purchases:

I’ve spent a couple of hours on the #IranElection thread the past couple of days and between the RT’s and the fake messages that lead to who knows what, there is very little useful information. The messages flow like the Niagara. It’s the biggest gossip mill on the planet, at the moment.
Hopefully, someone will come up with a better model.
