The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 32% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-four percent (34%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. Thats the Presidents lowest rating to date and the first time the Presidential Approval Index has fallen below zero for Obama (see trends).

FIRST WHO AND THE HELL ARE THE 8% OF REPUBLICIANS WHO STILL APPROVE WHAT ‘ZERO’ IS DOING? They have to be donkeys with a RINO horn mounted on the wrong end and facing backward!!!!!
Also I looked and looked and counldn’t find it, but has anyone access to the dispproval ratings breakdown among the ‘Dims’ I like to know if his disapproval rating (as small as it most likely is) is growing there as well?
>>>So 0bama has now fallen below 0?
No. He hasn’t. Again, this Strongly Support/Strongly Oppose measure simply confuses the issue.
His approval is 53% for/ 46% against. That’s about the same margin as the national vote last year. We’re no better then where we began.
The end of the honeymoon decline TO 53% is significant but that’s lost in the headline.
Don't mix apples and oranges. He beat McCain etc. Now he is losing to himself. There is a difference.
And to think he’s only been in office for 5 months!
I wonder if Obama fatigue is starting to set in. Some of my coworkers who voted for him were making fun of the amount of hoopla over him. And if they are getting sick of him now, imagine how people will feel in a year, and then in 2012.
Statistical Fluctuation, Statistical Flatulence...what's the difference?
LOL! That's a good one!
Today’s polling news: “Zero below zero!”
These are people who are so stupid they don't realize that they're liberals.
This should be the GOP's opening argument for 2010. Here's where we were when the Dems took control...here's out plan to get back to those numbers, because liberalism isn't doing anything to make your life better, Mr. and Mrs. Voter.
>>>He beat McCain etc. Now he is losing to himself.
53% approval isn’t losing to anyone or anything. And it especially isn’t less then Zero approval as this Strongly Support/Strongly Oppose standard misleads.
Again, the important but overshadowed story is the honeymoon granted all presidents seems to have ended for Obama. Now he is back down to his core support where he began. This is where it gets interesting.
. I'll see your comment, and raise you one.
I always find these approval tracking threads kinda silly. It seems that many freepers are on pins and needles just waiting for his approval numbers to edge downward. So what? He’s still going to be president for at least 3 1/2 more years. Unless we change the make up of the senate and the house in 2010, those 3 1/2 years will be an eternity, regardless of approval polls.
The numbers matter because:
1) The lower Obama’s numbers go, the less inclined less liberal Democrats will be to join Obama initiatives such as socialized medicine, and his other fascistic schemes.
2) The lower Obama’s numbers go, the less the “halo” effect is upon Democrats generally, which translates into more Republican pickups in the 2010 elections, and maybe a Republican take back of the House.
Ignorance is bliss. People don’t know or care and that is the pity. No matter how much he hurts us as a nation, the media and pop culture will prop him as a savior and the sponges will absorb it.
These numbers are good news. Seems the thin veneer of hope and change is beginning to crack. Wait until unemployment hits double digits.
Yes, I support my President, I just disapprove of everything her stands for.
Barky, get a clue. Americans don’t want Government Motors and they sure as hell don’t want Government Healthcare.
Yes lefties, your clown Messiah’s honeymoon is coming to an end.
