N.Korea Rubs The US' Face In It More: Mass Demo In Front of USS Pueblo (Yesterday) VIDEO LINK
NNN News Via Pyongyang, N. Korea TV ^ | 25 June 2009 (59th anniversary of start of Korean War) | AmericanInTokyo

DPRK is really rubbing it in the US's face with seeming impunity. Hmmmmm....I WONDER why THAT would be....

There was a mass demonstration yesterday in North Korea by the Korean Workers Party in front of the 1967-seized USS Pueblo, docked in Pyongyang on a main river.

I share HERE the link to the streaming video of this event. Hit the orange box with the arrow right below the Pueblo photo and the 1 minute video will stream. Stand it if you can.

At about 37 seconds into the clip, you will see our ship being used as a backdrop to threaten the United States with nuclear war, on the 59th anniversary of North Korea attacking South Korea. (You will also see the area the North Korea is calling ships in the Sea of Japan to stay away from for the next two weeks because of threatened missile launches.) THIS CLIP MAY WORK FOR ANOTHER 1/2 DAY OR SO.

I dare CBSNBCABCMSNBCFOX to pre-empt the 24/7 Bread and Circus Mark Sanford story and show THIS unedited to the American People in PRIME TIME.

They won't do it (I would wager).

The Pueblo should have been blown up a long time ago IMO. I was afraid this would happen.

Gee, they only marshaled a few hundred poor saps for the rally. Not enough space, I guess.

Would that attendance qualify for extra kilo of rice or one day checked off from 6 month community service? :-)

Why we haven't sent a cruise missile into the Pueblo years ago, I'll never understand. It is our ship and if I was president, I'd be damned if I would let them keep it. I would give them 10 minutes advanced warning to keep from being responsible for killing Innocent people, them blammo, blow it to smithereens

Wow!! North Korea had a “major” victory over us during the Johnson administration, and they’re still crowing about it! I’ve been on bigger yachts than the Pueblo. These gomers cling to every little shred of accomplishment, while the majority of their people starve. On the other hand, South Korea is one of the richest countries on Earth, with a huge middle class, giant conglomerates, worldwide markets and almost 100% broadband penetration. Dollar-for-dollar, the Hyundai Genesis is probably the best luxury car value on the market. Where are the North Korean cars, TVs, ships, etc??

It is pathetic.

To watch the whole sordid thing yesterday on PYONGYANG TV from North Korea, unedited (BARF ALERT!) simply go to THIS LINK. It will take a few seconds for the video to load where one can fast forward. Upon being able to, fast forward to 18:30 until 26:25 (an eight minute report at USS Pueblo dockside on the Taeddong River).. At least for any USS Pueblo afficionadoes out there, for former crew members or crew family, there is a good camera once over of the ship port-side, from stem to stern. These rabid Norkies are really ramping up the war rhetoric in these speeches yesterday. You have to see it to believe it. By and large, I think the crowd is a bit bored, though, having to go through these rants on a daily or weekly basis. Call it Communist Burnout, perhaps.

President WNY would have obliterated the Pueblo years ago...

You are right. I was in South Korea the very day this ship was taken. I remember waiting for LBJ to give the order to take it back. That order never came and the nightmare for those men lasted 9 months. Not a very good day in American history and his decision is still coming back to haunt us. Our current President could learn a lesson about the results of being non-committal.

USS Pueblo is ours. We should lay waste to her, immediately.

We should have blown USS Pueblo with an air strike up 40 years ago.

That is simply because you have cojones. Big ones at that.

I am SO sick of this Kumbaby nonsense that is turning our Nation into a second-world nation. It's long past time to DEAD some evil MF's in this world before they Dead us.

Hmmm, let me think. My wife, family, children, and grand-children and friends dying rather than the bad guys' families' dying. Hmmm. Tough choice.

Not so much. I vote my family and friends continue to exist and our Navy send a couple of nuke-tipped Trident Submarines to those regions where they want to kill us. Yeah! Launch on Emergency Action Message (EAM) from the radio shack.

KILL every last one of them who want to eliminate us. I'm going to say it...I don't care if they are old men, women, and chidren. MY family comes first! Deal with it!

The poor men on that ship were imprisoned for a year.

The whole affair was a harbinger of the Iranian embassy hostages eleven years later.

RIP, Cmdr. Lloyd Bucher, and our thanks to your crew.

You deserved far better from us.

I posted this on FR this morning, for a reason. Fellow Americans do not get this footage very often.

Americans should be ANGERED.

And rightly so.

I suspect the US MSM will try to keep these things being aired too much because it will work at cross purposes toward what the Obambi-in-Chief, Mr. Appeaser, stands for in all this "downplaying" that is going to be the Neville Chamberlainian precursor to death for a lot of us.

Indeed. It is our ship to do with as we please. It should have been obliterated years ago.

Americans are angry. The problem is , is they are few and far between and are getting fewer as each day passes.

That being said. You want to anger those that live in the United States of America?
Shut down American Idol, America has talent, Sunday football, and March Madness.

This will get their dander up.
