That’s awful. Shepard Smith just called Michael Jackson a colored kid. Awful.

I'm just sitting here wondering :

Would any freeper have performed mouth to mouth resuscitation on him? Not me, not even for a million bucks.

What will his moocher family do for money?

I bet the cell phone cameras were clicking away on that ambulance ride and in the hospital.
How soon will his death pic show up in the Enquirer?
Some of those paramedics and hospital staff will never have to work again.

Will her be buried with his plastic nose?

A fitting end to a drama filled life. Nobody can deny the man was a genius but unfortunately for the past 15 years, he was pathetic freak.

Not trying to be callus, but is it appropriate to say God Bless to a cult member?

My prayers are with his children and his family as they will have to get real jobs now that their meal ticket is gone.

Why is this more important than cap and tax and Obamacare?

Why is he, a child molester, more important than Farah Fawcett and Ed McMahon?

Fox has jumped the shark on this one.

America is going down the tubes.

I am sorry but the news coverage is abysmal for its pervasiveness - he was an entertainer past his prime and newsworthiness. We have a lot more problems that are worthy of coverage far more than this (sorry) has-been. People are talking about McMahon, Fawcett and Jackson, what about the DC Subway deaths, the Iran Protesters like Neda? WE NEED PERSPECTIVE not breathless adoration of a new corpse! RIP but really, lets genuinely MOVE ON!

In many respects, this is very tragic. Michael has led a tortured life since his golden period in the 80s and just kind of went off the deep end and weirded out.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Jackson family as well as his children. I wish them all well.

Whatever we may or may not have thought about Michael Jackson during his life, he is at peace now. Let’s leave him that way.

As someone born in 1982, and having grown up in the shadow he cast of popular culture, I can say, for whatever it’s worth, he was HUGE. A celebrity icon par excellence.

Also a good cautionary tale. Don’t abuse your kids, elsewsie they might carry on the tradition; fame is untlimately empty; etc.

As sad as it is unsurprising. Michael Jackson was a tremendous talent, a great entertainer, but someone who was always surrounded by “yes” people and enablers. No one would warn the King of Pop about his excentricities, no one would keep him grounded, in the real world. As much as he wanted to “stay young” forever, he died “young” in a relative sense. A sad epitath to a magnificent and tragic life...

I’m sorry he has died, especially before his time. Pop culture king or not, I’m amazed at the TV coverage. He may have had a talent, but I can’t see the need to elevate him to these heights -— just from singing and dancing. The entourage that usually follows him continues.

The death of Neda effects me more.
