Zelaya, defying coup, plans return to Honduras (What will Obama say after Zelaya is arrested?)
reuters ^ | 6/30/2009 | reuters

Defying a coup and bolstered by international support, ousted President Manuel Zelaya said he will return to Honduras on Thursday to serve out the rest of his term.

He said he would be accompanied by the Argentine and Ecuadorean presidents, and the U.N. General Assembly and Organization of American States chiefs.

But the interim government -- set up after the army bundled Zelaya out of the Central American country on Sunday -- said it would arrest him if he tried to re-enter Honduras.

Baraka Hussein doesn't have the balls to order OUR military into Honduras, they might just round up his skinny communist crypto-muslim ass instead.

What if he does so order. The US still has a civilian controlled military. However it is fair to say that Obama is ""confused, disoriented and unable to answer questions" so he satisfies his own criteria for an Inspector General to be removed from office.

The ultimate goal of Obama may very well be to break American power in any way possible, so as to give a chance for other forces to remake the world (e.g. Muslim imperialism).

In Honduras ,exiled leaders are permanently thrown out. If you try to come back. you are then summarily executed. I cannot figure out why his wife is still there

The World Bank is cutting off loans, which is a devastating soft embargo led by an unaccountable international institution.

An excellent description!

It's also rather interesting to see how much control Obama has over the World Bank. Normally slow in everything, they have run to do his bidding.

He wants to crush Honduras for opposing him.

Unless we keep this before the public eye (since the press sure isn’t doing so), I wouldn’t be in the least surprised if Obama tries to order our troops to reinstall Zelaya. I don’t think he’d dare to do it if whatever remains of a free press (mostly talk radio and bloggers) keeps shouting about what’s really going on. He’ll continue to try to punish Honduras, but not with our troops.

Of course, if he does order them out, I don’t know what would happen. I can’t imagine that they would defy him but perhaps he’s not really sure what would happen, either, and this may hold him back.

I think it’s one of the reasons he’s trying to build his own personal army (in the guise of these youth “volunteer” programs) and also replace as many people as possible in the regular military, particularly through pushing “diversity” appointments. He wants a military that is loyal to him personally.

HUSSEIN BARAKA is in extreme danger of "Trying to fool all of the people all of the time"

President Manuel Zelaya is promoting a Sunday referendum on constitutional changes that has plunged the country into crisis by setting the president at odds with the military, the courts and the legislature that have branded the vote illegal. Interim leader says Honduras saved from 'Chavismo'

"The interim president picked to rule Honduras after the army ousted leftist President Manuel Zelaya said on Monday the coup had saved the country from swinging to a radical Venezuelan-style socialism.

Roberto Micheletti -- named caretaker president by Congress hours after the military seized Zelaya and exiled him to Costa Rica -- said Zelaya had lost respect for the law. .............................

..................Micheletti is a veteran of Zelaya's Liberal Party who was head of Congress until he was picked by a near-unanimous vote to head the country until after a more permanent leader is elected in a November 29 election.

A centrist who mixes social programs with deep conservative beliefs, Micheletti is seen as having a stabilizing influence while in power but could also take a swing to the right and crush opponents.

He was formerly an ally of Zelaya but opposed his shift to the left and increasingly close friendship with Chavez. "............

If he returns, he needs to be arrested. It was he who was attmpeting the coup. He was willingly and knowingly subverting the Honduran constitution which he was sworn to defend.

His attempt to call for a constituional convention through a referendum that the executive branch was going to hold, was blatantly unconstitutional and had been ruled as such by the Hinduran supreme court...but he was going to go ahead with it anyway. So, in an effort to save their constitutional republic, the Supreme Court and a majortiy of the legislature had him aprehended and ousted by the military.

Now the legislature has put in place an interim government and their will be new elections.

Obama and every other marxist in this Hemisphere is upset because another attempt to force marxism has been thwarted.

“Everything that was done was done in accordance with the Honduran Constitution and its established procedures.”

Their constitution calls for impeachment by the Congress and trial by the Supreme Court. Maybe it was done that way or maybe not. The problem is, they didn’t do a public trial. That would have dispelled all doubt that he was legally ousted.

A socialist coup occurred on January 20, 2009 in Washington DC and went unreported on in the “press”.

I think the military can take care of itself in case of invasion. During the “Soccer War” of 1969, Honduras slaughtered El Salvador.

He had actually entered into the conditions for summary removal because of his attempt to stage an auto-golpe (a self coup) and his consistent violation of every court order he had received regarding it. This wasn’t just ordinary misconduct, although he seems to have been guilty of that, as well.

>>Hmmm, popcorn alert! Maybe obama would like to go with him?<<

I wish he would.
It would show him what he will be up against when he tries it but Honduras is a small country and a drop in the bucket compared to what Obama will face when / if he tries this BS.

I thought it was arrogant to meddle in other countries affairs?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Zero is a compulsive meddler. As a Senator, in 2006 and 2007, well into 2008, Obama campaigned for, and supported Islamofascist Rial Odinga in the Kenyan National election of 2007.Odinga is from Obama's paternal Luo tribe of Kenya.

When Odinga lost, Obama likely advized him to take it to the streets, and genocide occurred as a result. And if Obama meddles in Honduras, thousands will die. Obama is a neo colonialist, spreading Chicago Black Power politics around the world, under a mask of Hope and Change.

Yes, he is an arrogant POS.
