Note that that “qualified” list is NOT the order I would have voted for any (if at all) of the candidates.

Sarah is now Free to do what the GOP won't do...

Go on the attack on the communist p.o.s. that now fouls the air in the White House! What a clever way to be the Front Runner in the 2012 contest!

Blow it out da butt, Quinn. Good move, bad move, you can’t deny it is gutsy.

Except that she is quitting early a job for which she campaigned, won and accepted. That is not ethical, sorry.

In my mind she's far more ethical by quitting rather than costing her state money and time spent defending all the frivolous lawsuits against her. She was spending time, through no fault of her own, not doing the job she was hired to do - Governing Alaska - but defending herself from her detractors. It's also very smart to insert her Lt. Gov in the office now because then he can run as an incumbent when the term is up.

I don’t think she’s going to run for President.

Sarah hasn’t played all of her cards so I wait without reaching conclusions. Her speech was a rambly but made the point that she can serve the team better by passing rather than keeping the Governor ball. Her future subjects had better focus on policy and governing.

Women are a little more prone to talk about personality things rather than talking talk about policy or for that matter just babbling.

Her speech set ME right as to her real reason.

#1 Democrats and their lawyers have forced them to amass a personal additional family debt of over $500,000 while in office. She can't afford to stay in office and make the $500k 1.5 million K.

Yes, the Democrats have caused the state 2 million in debt, but the half million in family debt is a reason to have to go.

Go on a speaking tour, pay off the debts move on.

I’m inclined to agree. The MSM and the DC elite have had a symbiotic relationship destructive to the Republic for several decades now.

The MSM and the DC long-timers understand that the necessity of their very existences will be called into question if Palin should go for higher office and gain traction. As their desperation grows so will the vile attacks, founded or not, against her.

Old model: MSM = political kingmakers

New Model: Still in Beta

I agree. Gov. Palin can take the gloves off now. This could get good whether she stays in poltiics or not. Lawsuits? Hmmmmmmmm.

This is one of those cases where people do not want to hear something that they desperately need to listen to...

Quitting in the middle of your first term as Governor is not the resume bullet that any wanna-be Presidential candidate should want. Sarah just distinguished herself from Mitt Romney in yet another way...at least Mitt finished his term as Governor....didn’t he??

She could have spent the next two years as Governor talking with every Conservative mind in the Country on any subject she wanted, if only she had asked. Instead she quit, and gave up the best place to launch a campaign from, as a sitting Governor.

hopeless...

Neither do I, but I've been wrong before.

This article is a perfect example of why conservatives keep losing elections.

We conservatives can’t stop beating each other over the head with a club!

And with liberals and the MSM more than willing to help beat us on the head.

Until we take the club away and start using it on the RINOs, Country Club Republicans, liberals and the MSM, then the beatings will continue.

A good place to start would be with the author of this piece!

[’Except that she is quitting early a job for which she campaigned, won and accepted. That is not ethical, sorry. ]

By that criteria, doddering Senators Byrd and Kennedy define ethical.

Alas, we could be because Republican primary voters believe strongly in the “It’s his turn” mantra. Bless her heart, Sarah is beautiful but could carry no more than five states in my opinion.

“It makes her look like a quitter. Somebody even said her speech was a “poor me” kind of thing. “

Someone said? That’s how you make a decision...on what ‘someone said.’ Her words are available, decide for yourself.
‘Someone’ said Obama was the second coming...did you believe that too?

"Like B. Hussein Obama and Hillary were actually qualified to run for president."

No, Obama wasn't qualified for the Presidency, not even close. But, political positions aside, Hilary was. She completed a six year term and was into her second term by the time the '08 came around. Hilary had/has volumes of experience compared to what Obama campaigned and won on.

... Mass is a liberal hell hole...

Then again, so is Romney. This is why many of us would not vote for Romney, even against Zero.
