Interesting analysis....which will get about as much traction with the MSM as a Ferrari with oil soaked glass tires running at full throttle up the side of a glacier.

Ya mean the SRM. Hey, I wouldn't diss a Ferrari no matter how it's pimped.

Does it say something like “My Term Expires” above the fold?

Mine or Onaka’s? LOL Nope neither. The Dept of Health can not explain why I have a COLB that was ordered in Feb of 2000, which is confirmed by THEIR records, and yet a date on the thing of Mar 6 2007.

VERY helpful lady on the phone, she looked at all the stampers for me too, there are three of them.

That’s not even an authentic signature, that’s a handstamp.

Oh its real, I assure you, the lady confirmed it with me on the phone. That is the back side of the form, and matches the Stamper that is in the Mail Order room in the office she told me.

I was told there are 3 different stamping machines in use,one for Mail ordered copies, another for internet ordered copies, and one at the front desk. I am told that there are times that hundreds of copies might be made in a day.

Was your COLB a mail order copy? I was under the impression there was no such thing as an internet copy.

Something very fishy about the way dates are applied to a COLB in Hawaii.

Catching up. Obviously I posted my previous question before I read all of the posts. I just hate it when posters do that :-)

All techniques aside, even a child can see that there is no way that the heavily embossed Seal and pronounced second fold line in the document object shown in the photos would NOT show up in a scan of it. As you know, the "scan image" -- the one and only image to which all people refer -- had a barely visible Seal impression, and absolutely and unequivocally, NO 2nd FOLD LINE.

I've been following all your reports, but I have to ask this question regarding the folds. Pardon my own made-up terminology.

How would an "inside fold" differ from an "outside fold" when scanned? The COLB in the fold had an accordian-fold, the top fold being an "outside fold" and the bottom fold being an "inside fold." The top fold's crease would be raised towards the scanner, while the bottom fold's crease would be on the back side of the document, showing the concave side towards the scanner.

I'm not a detractor, you know, but I wonder how the different folds would show up (or not) on scans.

The internet copy is something they would use for orders coming through an internet source. The Mail is for one being processed through a snail mail order. Then there is the front counter. Thats what I was told, I have no reason to believe this kind helpful lady was miss-representing anything.

I suppose it would all depend on how it was folded, by the persons handling it. Mine has lots of folds LOL

I'm going by the photo at Factcheck. All the COLB's I've seen on the internet have been tri-folded to fit into a legal-size envelope.

ok, I'm a long way from the US, in Australia, so let me make a fool of myself and ask this question - (far away enough that flaming won't hurt)

Let's assume you had applied for an 'internet copy' and wanted to use that to obtain a licence or a passport, what would you do? Photocopy it? Do you receive both sides or front only? And then you take the photo copy or copies to make your application. Would you expect the copies to be accepted? (Or, would you need to take your computer to the desk and plug it in to show them? )

I'm totally confused now. What possible use could an internet copy be to anyone?

You say she was nice to you...I think I can imagine why.

Thanks for another excellent report. Very well done.

Now my question is, why doesn’t someone sue Factcheck et. al. for producing a false identification document, charge them with the felony that it is?

Go after the small fish before snagging the big one.

Well as far as I know you can order it through the internet, but it’s not like they scan you a copy, they send it through snail mail or overnight I think, you get a real hard copy at any rate, with a raised seal.

Its just an internet order. Apparently there are three different areas where stamping of these documents can occur.
