Following the mad recommendations of Peter Singer made in NYT's Sunday magazine, it pays to take a look at what is actually in the healthcare bill.
It's worse than you can possibly imagine. Somehow, it manages to be Singer on steroids. Who wrote this bill. It has Singer's footprints all over it.

The Republican response to those seeking health care is often, “We totally wish you luck!”
That doesn’t work, and paves the path for the Democratic approach, which is totalitarian takeover.
This is so far fromt he truth. There are many good ideas out there. Steve Forbes actually has a great approach, as do many elected officials. They just don't have a unified presentation of an alternative. Much like our situation with illegals two years ago, this current one is going to get votes up or down, and then move on. I do wish the GOP does present some outline as the vote gets closer, but not for the purpose of compromise, but to kill this beast.
