A number of years ago, following the funeral of my grandmother in Windsor, Ontario, everybody was headed back to my sister's house in Grosse Point Shores, MI. My sister gave me the key to their house as well as instruction on how to disable the alarm system. Well, you know how first time instructions go.
Of course I set off the alarm which also sent out an alarm to the local police department. They were there faster than democrats on taxes.
I saw them coming up the driveway so I met them at the door. I let them into the house and they were very polite asking for my identification (while the alarm is still howling). At that point I tried turning off the alarm but of course couldn't figure it out. The officers remained there while I called my brother-in-laws answering service (he's a doctor) and told them to page him so he could find a phone and call back to the house to explain to the officers who I was........
Anyway, to make a long story short, the officers remained on site with me till the family arrived....... They were very professional but also friendly and in the end, everybody had a good laugh at my expense......

It makes me very sad; I’ve actually been the target of racist attacks (religious -— sucker punched in the subway, screams of “Christ killer, that sort of thing) — I am loathe to dislike people as a group.
But it is happening to me, against my desires.

Well, he might be a black guy, but this ole white boy (i.e., me... ) knows better than to be hollering at police when they are investigating a break-in at a house... LOL...

So is all "reverse racism." We have seen the same bigotry from Sonia Sotomayor and Jeremiah Wright. Obama is quite comfortable with racists.
