FREEP THIS POLL
(Excerpt) Read more at orlandosentinel.com ...
Until all the verifiable facts are in, I refuse to play the racist baiters' game and answer stupid questions!
Most polls are mindless. So, no, not going there either.
Well you showed THEM!
BO missed his calling. The perfect job for BO is to be the new race pimp a la Jesse Jackson. He could continue to go around the country and stir up racism against whites and get TV time and money for it. That way, he wouldn’t have to worry about all that other stuff and would have plenty of time for date nights and basketball.
It just makes me smile when these dopes reason like that. A lot of crimes, like murder, rape, robbery, burglary, child molestation, spousal abuse, narcotics trafficking, and fraud are committed on private property. So, in the reasoning of the moonbats, as long as you commit a crime on private property, or you make it off the roadway to private property, you should be free from being arrested.
Moonbats and reason do not play well together. What gets me is that they’re pulling out the “this was a violation of freedom” argument not because they actually give a darn about Constitutionally-defined freedom, but because they think that any mention of freedom will automatically force a conservative to agree with them.
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

face it, he is in a house, refuses to give id. screams at the cop says the cop will be in trouble (Obviously Obama knows him or of him based upon Obamas response)
How was the cop supposed to know who he was?
I would be thankful if a cop questioned me after breaking into my own house.
If they didn’t and it wasn’t me I could have everything stolen!
Was he just supposed to take the guys word for it because he was being screamed at and threatened?

We've since found out that Harvard owned this home and Gates was renting. But I think you have a good point here. What is the whole story? Who lives in the house Gates owned? Is he going through a divorce or something and that's why he over reacted. I doubt the Harvard ID had this property listed. I don't believe he had complete possession of the property, but Harvard will never admit it. Maybe he hadn't signed some paper work or something yet since he just got back from an oversees trip.
He first told the police he forgot his key, then when he was arrested, he said he couldn't lock up because the University had done something to the house after a burglary and a Harvard maintenance man had to be called to lock it up.
Was this a set up? I heard on the radio that Gates once said that the Duke University area one of the most racially bias areas in the US. So he's made racists comments before. I guess that's why all those Duke professors signed those statements condemning the innocent white Lacrosse players.
Maybe this was a planned incident, but the police who answered the call were too clean for the charges to stick. The only reason I don't think it was a setup is that it would have been poorly planned. But the reason it sounds like a setup is that Obama was told before the press conference that there would be a question on this incident and Gates was a friend of his. So he had time to think how he wanted to answer this question before he was asked. It was like Obama wanted to make this a racial issue and it didn't work. Obama misjudged it.
