------Whatever happened to Congresswoman Katherine Harris after she left office following her Nov. 2006 defeat?
For those who've forgotten, she was Florida Secretary of State during the controversial Nov. 2000 presidential election. For her leadership during that crisis(or because of her name recognition) she made a successful run for U.S. Representative for Florida. She was then re-elected in 2004.
She made an ill-fated run for the Senate in 2006 which she lost and lost her Representative seat.

Who exactly did you invite here?
I was impolite? How?
I posted because you appear to be interested in the well being and dismissive of Katherine Harris at the same time which makes me think you are trying to stir up trouble.

You don’t really have enough service stripes on your sleeve to be playing the role of 1st Sergeant, do you?

You are not going to believe this, but a couple of days ago I was thinking the same thing.
We needed her.
I remember Bush did not like her because she was not pushing his idiot agenda; therefore, he withheld money to her campaign; and his idiot brother campaigned against her.
I really admired her and still do.
She is another baracuda, and they were afraid of her.

Man in picture in post 42? I am not sure, the image is kind of dark to me. A military veteran I believe.
The man in the picture with Harris in post #31 is her late father who passed away early in 2006.
God Bless His Soul, for he gave us Katherine.
I would have responded sooner but my computer has gotten a little wonky.
I bought this Dell Dimension2400 - caveat emptor!

I agree.
To be sure, the RNCC failed to give her the support she needed early on, thus undermining her bid for the U.S. Senate.
I sometimes think that Karl Rove was behind that move, but I cannot be sure.

>>You dont really have enough service stripes on your sleeve <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I campaigned for Harris over the Internet during 2005 and 2006 and got the word out. I have defended her on AOL chat-rooms and message boards of all places.
I was a heavy contributor to her campaign.
I still have my Harris For Senate campaign card with me.
I am Pro-Harris, but I am not uncritical, she made mistakes, even the best make mistakes! Sarah Palin, whom I admire, has made mistakes.

Yeah, it's good. One thing about Harris was what I think a lot of people like about Sarah Palin -- she can be strong when she needs to, but never stops being a lady.
