Official correspondence, released under the United Kingdom's Freedom of Information law, reveals that U.S. radio talk-show host Michael Savage's name was placed on a list of people banned from Britain in order to provide "balance" to a "least wanted" list dominated by Muslim extremists, and the decision was made "at the highest level of government," the London Daily Mail reported today.
"We will want to ensure that the names disclosed reflect the broad range of cases and are not all Islamic extremists," reads a draft recommendation, marked "Restricted," that was obtained as part of Savage's libel lawsuit against the government and former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.

RIDICULOUS!!!!! Instead of going by a sort of “fantasy” mindset ... that does not reflect reality ... they should (and we in the USA should) go by what is actually true. ... (Even if it _seems_ like “profiling.”) So instead, they just decide to put someone on the list of dangerous persons, who isn’t even dangerous - or rather, who hasn’t committed any crime yet, and cannot be proven guilty. .... ... Same (or “similar”) concept goes for affirmative action, re colleges and universities. If something doesn’t fit reality, don’t try to _make_ it fit! Just go with what is true and what is real. Shouldn’t you put the worst criminals on the list so that they don’t abuse your country’s security and peace? They’re just afraid of Muslims and they’ve waited too long to fight them and this is how they appease them.
They needed to put someone on the list who was Jewish. To balance out the fact that all the others were Muslims. So, who could they get? Think of the worst Jewish person you know. Savage??? They couldn't do better than that?
And, since Savage isn't heard in Britain, one of their cohorts probably heard him on the radio over here, and submitted his name.
I personally thought it was a British CAIR equivalent. But now we find out that his name on the list was just fulfilling a quota. He's the one token non-Muslim on the list.
Well, no, because if you did that, then you be engaging in racial profiling. That is, by all statistical evidence, the preponderance of the people on your list would be individuals that are classified as minorities.

Hmmm I think they would’ve banned him even if he were Mormon. They wanted a “right-wing white guy” to put on the list next to minority terrorists and murders to prove how sensitive they were. Or something.

Of course! Can’t take a chance the Muslims will be offended - after all, they tend to kill people when that happens.
