NEW YORK — New York City is buying one-way plane tickets for homeless families to leave the city.
It's part of a program by Mayor Michael Bloomberg's administration to keep the homeless out of the expensive shelter system, which costs $36,000 a year per family.
More than 550 families have left the city since 2007. All it takes is for a relative to agree to take them in.
The city employs a travel agency for domestic travel and the Department of Homeless Services handles international travel.

Of course NO IMMIGRATION reform is oursued. In fact the OPPOSITE - open borders -health care for all is what Obama and liberals want!
LOL..we did the samething here in Atlanta just prior to the Olympics in 1996...shipped them out by the bus loads..good thing was most never came back :)

All you have to do do is wait for the liberal judge to ask you where you came from and how you got there and what airlines, you'll finish your vacation with any answer and start a new one. Like Rush Limbaugh says, just learn to read liberals.

maybe that’s because Puerto Ricans aren’t immigrants, at least in their native country (usa).

I’ve been saying this for years: Good practice for the Air Force to practice “touch and goes”. Push the illegals out
on pallets with a case of MREs and water and a hearty “good luck”.

Funny that was what was done at Khe Sahn. Judge Carter who will hear the Obama BC case in CA got a bronze star and purple heart as a Marine officer at Khe Sahn.
this is a classic, new york solution. why not buy rich people a one-way ticket? Oh. Cuz they have money, and the city needs that.
