In 1994 the GOP profited from public ennui with 40 years of Democrat control. It had a plan about what they were for that resonated with the voters, tired of the same old. It had a spokesman the GOP felt comfortable getting behind in Gingrich. 15 months out from the 2010 elections and none of these factors are in place. People may be dubious or worried about the direction things are going, but the Dems control the news most Americans get and the GOP may make inroads by yelling STOP but they need to develop a direction to take the nation. And I see little sign of doing that at this time.
Obama’s Core values = Incompetence and Bitterness
IMHO it is both. People are beginning to realize that he has a line a mile long and waist deep that is nothing but BS! Continuing to blame Bush makes him look very wimpy so he’s also losing his “cool” his supporter’s liked.
Every news show begins with”And today the President...”. I think people are also just plain tired of his face in theirs.
It is like a Banana Republic..the President makes the biggest news every day.
ALL of the above!
Unlike the slickster Clinton, I do not believe that Obama can stomach the need to govern moderately - He is too sure that “he won”, and that means “he wins everything”.
Clinton, when faced with a more conservative congress, had the sense to understand that doing something - even if it wasn’t really his personal favorite idea - was more important than getting his way (except with interns).
Is anybody else aghast at their own nostalgia for the Clinton presidency?
His arrogance was revealed with the “stupidly” comment.
Maybe some of his hardcore supporters are starting to realize that Barrack Obama ain’t “gonna pay off my car and house” and are already looking for the next sugar daddy to care for them??
it’s both....he has nothing in his playbook to respond except another “look at me, ain’t I slick?” teleprompter performance, the the public is already getting tired of them.
“..veer toward the political center”
As if the Kenyan Imposter has a center.
Pour on the calls and letters. Let’s drive him down to the teens....
Mamet's movie is worth seeing again.
Ubama is like the catchy pop song you hear on the radio and perhaps enjoy hearing for a couple of weeks, but then by the fiftieth time you hear it you can’t stand it anymore and want to kick your stinking radio. That’s Ubama. People have grown sick of him.
Jeremiah was a bullfrog...
It’s him. He never shuts up. He’s all high sounding gibberish with no substance.
He’s a fake, a fraud, a phony, a doofus, a twerp and an outright liar.
He’s also a wolf in sheeps clothing, a Manchurian POTUS, a socialist/leftist/communist/anti-American/traitor.
He’s not really an American.
Then there’s his lovely wife,......She reminds me of a short kick in football, or the technique of holding the baseball bat horizontal and letting the ball hit it for a short infield play, or the long pole used on flat boats in England to push the boat along rather than rowing.
Can you think of anything else? Next time I’ll tell you how I really feel.
And further more,........
You mean like THIS song=

And plus, he’s got BO, real bad BO.
He stinks to high heaven!
It his PORTFOLIO ....
he gets high with a little help from his friends
we're gonna die, with a lil help from his friends
I would bet it’s the unemployment issue, because that’s one way the average American can feel a bad economy. (Gas prices and tax increases are others.)
In Ohio, my state, unemployment is officially at 11.1%, really at 16.5%, and adding in underemployment, the number is probably at about 20%.
That means that 1 of every five people you talk to are most likely to have an unemployment problem or an underemployment problem.
They talk to families, who talk to friends, who talk, talk, talk.
It’s a whisper campaign against the government...although it’s more like a shouting campaign.
