There's Red America, Blue America and Tinfoil Helmet America. And it looks like the third camp is enormously larger than anyone feared.
A new poll, commissioned by the liberal Web site Daily Kos found that fully 11% of Americans think that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. And another 12% said that they are unsure.
The doubters are heavily concentrated in the Republican Party, according to pollsters. An amazing 58% of the surveyed Republicans questioned whether Obama, in fact, entered the world in Hawaii.
What this means: Millions of Americans suspect or are convinced that Obama, son of a Kenyan father, is not a citizen and thus cannot legitimately serve as President. And no Hawaiian birth certificate or newspaper announcement from the time will convince them otherwise.
Who are these people? They're the ones whose feet are not planted on U.S. soil - or any soil.
Just show me the birth certificate and the college transcripts!!

If you want to see the birth certificate, you’re going to have to get that state law passed that I’m talking about. Since it is not a *legal requirement* for a candidate to show his birth certificate, you’re not going to see it — and that’s the reason why you haven’t seen it up to this time...

There is a bit of *insanity* involved with some in this group, when saying that Obama has to show them his birth certificate. For the first thing, they cannot even recognize that there is *no legal requirement* for a candidate to show his birth certificate. And for the second thing — when there *is a solution* that will solve that problem (enact a state law...) — those same people will *oppose a state law* saying something to the effect that “no stinkin’ law is needed” for Obama to show me his birth certificate... LOL...
That’s what I call “going insane” — which I think happened to a lot of people on November 5th...

All I want to know is, why won't Obama reveal the birth certificate? This is really so easy to swat down and yet he refuses to do it. Why?
We don't need prove of black helicopters or space aliens to blow the entire "birther" question out of the water. We just need the paper copy of a sealed and notorized birth certificate.
I can get mine from the State of New Jersey for just a few bucks and a return envelope. It's ridiculously easy. Why is it too difficult for the most powerful man in the world?
I know there is practically no chance Obama will be removed from office. To me, that's not the issue. The issue is why a request that almost anyone else needs to comply with in order to get a job with the federal government is so difficult for this person to comply with?
I just want to see a valid paper birth certificate. Produce it, and I'm willing to let the whole issue die.
Obama could be a citizen but he IS NOT a natural born citizen because his father (by Obama's own admission) was a Kenyan national. He is therefore ineligible to be President of the United States because he had only one parent who was a U.S. citizen. It takes two.

The problem, as you well know by now..., is that there is *no legal requirement* for any candidate to show his birth certificate...
I’m always amazed at how *disconnected with reality* some are, when presented with a clear solution — such as enact a state law... but no.... they can’t figure it out... LOL...
A) Neither the Obama faction, nor his Republican hack defenders, have produced ANY document that proves he was born in the United States, which, considering the legal status of his alleged parents, he had to be to be constitutionally qualified to be President of the United States.
B) Even if forced to produce the actual long form birth certificate, and were that document to prove that he was born in Hawaii, that is not enough. He very well may have expatriated himself as an adult. That’s why his college and passport documents must also be shown.
That's because liberals and Democrats don't want to know. As proof, look at the death of investigative journalism. It's not that the MSM doesn't know how or can't afford to do it anymore, they are just afraid of what they might find on either side of the aisle, so they don't even try anymore.

Obama could release his vital birth records that are held by the state of Hawaii. THIS document has the citizenship of both of his parents. This is how we would know if he is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. With a KENYAN father he could be a CITIZEN with an American mother. To be President of the US you MUST be a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. What is so hard to understand about that?

Do you notice that all of the anti-Birther articles always start right out with untrue statements like the one above. None of us have seen Obama's Birth Certificate and the writer of this article would know that if he/she had done 10 minutes worth of real research on the subject. Such is the state of American Journalism today. Sad to say.
Obama has hidden, cloaked, lost and disposed of more of the paper trail of his life than any other human in US political history. Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Asking for documentation of the name of the physician that delivered Ann Dunham is a minor request.
