SNIPPET: “Thieves made off with various items including 96 one-pound blocks of TNT, 17 sticks of dynamite, 180 pounds of black powder, 200 pounds of AMEX/ANFO (a booster sensitive blasting agent), 14 bags of rocket black powder, detonation cord, blasting caps and more.

SNIPPET: “The five secured bunkers at the explosives magazine in the airport’s industrial section are leased to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Washington State Patrol, U.S. Forest Service and two private citizens.”

SNIPPET: “Investigators from the Yakima office of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have taken charge of the case. There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the unknown suspect(s).”

I live just a half hour away. I knew nothing of this until reading it here.

This isn’t that big of a place, it’s not going to be easy to hide it.

And, just for people’s interest’s sake... It was MUCH more likely stolen to be resold to get drug money, than for anything else.

It could be dopers, but that would be speculation.

Yeah, that is my “speculation”, for sure. We’re just not a hotbed of violent political activists around here. Mostly just a few farmers, a whole lot of vineyards, and everyone else wondering how to survive.
